I needed a good vehicle for the snow I visited another dealership to look for a car to replace my Challenger. I needed something that would get through the hilly terrain in the snow where I work. I was not impressed. I went to Waikem where my wife purchased her KIA a year earlier. I have never owned a Subaru before so I was not impressed when this first dealership did not want to sell me a car. I just figured I would get the same treatment at Waikem. I was wrong. Erik, my salesman, knew everything that there is to know about a Subaru in any model. He took me on two different test drives until I decided I wanted a Crosstrek. He had me put that car through its paces even taking me off road into some snow and ice. I had never been on a test drive like that. I got a good deal on my trade and a no haggle price that was very competitive with everything I saw online even getting a better than expected interest rate. I got a price, a real price, on the car I wanted. I never had such an easy time buying a car! I have enjoyed my new Subaru so far. I am waiting for more snow and ice to fall on the roads. Great Experience I was searching online for a deal. I came across a lease deal on a Subaru Forester. At 60+ years old I had never leased a vehicle before nor ever ow I was searching online for a deal. I came across a lease deal on a Subaru Forester. At 60+ years old I had never leased a vehicle before nor ever owned or ridden in a Subaru. I contacted Waikem Subaru online with some questions, after a few communications with Tyler Fulz, I was cordially invited to come in and was introduced to sales consultant Rick Spieth by sales manager Bob Russel. Rick Spieth took time to answer my many questions. Rick was very knowlegeable, cordial and easy to talk to. He provided a great test drive experience as well. Without any pressure at all, I decided to let go of the vehicle I had been driving for the past 14 years and lease a 2015 Forester. Rick Spieth made the process very easy. (The entire staff seems to work well together to make things happen so easily.) They didn't have the color I liked onsite, Rick had one transferred in. Rick had everything ready when I arrived to pick it up. After signing a few papers with Rick Minster, Finance Manger, Rick Spieth gave me a tour of the vehicle (and facility) then sat with me in the vehicle and explained and demonstrated how all the controls worked. Worth the trip My father-in-law passed two years ago and my mother-in-law decided it was time for a new car. Her 140K 4cyl. FWD '06 VUE was well cared for but the effects of age tend to show up at the most unopportune times. When her car went in for maintenance she borrowed either our loaded Altima or AWD Pacifica. She wanted a well equipped mid size AWD SUV preferrably a 6cyl. and made in the USA. I was the point man. For the first time I did an internet search and requested quotes from several dealerships. Park Subaru, Cascade Subaru, and some others. Their idea of a quote was to have one of their sales people contact me using the information I provided. I might as well of walked in cold. We did visit several dealers with said sales people in the Summit county area, still no quotes. Did not get a good feeling, did not attempt to negotiate. Negotiating is not my favorite thing, even though I am good at it. I have heard some good things about Waikem. We tried them, what a pleasent surprise. Sarah Sims sent a quote on a Forester with a an introduction to Waikem auto group, contact #'s etc. We took that information and visited Waikem Subaru. Ian Ross met us and proceeded to show us what he had in stock. He introduced us to Bob Russel the manager. We left with a good feeling. We stopped at the Hyundai outlet to pick up info on the Sante Fe. Robin Monticelli helped us. I told her we we were working with Ian Ross and she said he could sell any vehicle in the group. She showed integrity. Impressive. Ian was very patient with us. We tested the Forester. Sante Fe. Sante Fe Sport. Sorento. and the Nisson Murano. I asked Sarah for quotes on these vehicles at different times and she promptly and pleasantly did so. The quotes had a nice percentage off. It would have taken some good negotiating to get that. We ended up ordering a fully loaded Subaru Outback. Same % off. Bob Russel found a $96 error in the paper work in our favor. Integrity again. Ian kept us in the loop on delivery date. When the vehicle came Ian carefully went over the equippment in the car. He said he would be glad to help us any time with operational questions. Sarah Sims, Ian Ross, and Bob Russel made Waikem a good Experience. My mother-in-law will bring it back there for service when needed. Sincerely Jack Kohl More

Hassle free purchase I did my homework and knew what I wanted. The first Subaru dealership I visited didn't have what I was looking for and tried to put me into something I did my homework and knew what I wanted. The first Subaru dealership I visited didn't have what I was looking for and tried to put me into something else, and I lost their interest when I didn't bite. Waikem didn't have one either but instead of trying to sway me, they quickly offered me a great price (without the back and forth pony show) and the next morning my car was ordered. Erik was awesome keeping me up to date during the process and quickly responding to my numerous questions and emails. I would tell family and friends interested in a Subaru to go out of their way to talk to Erik at Waikem. More

absolutely the best car buying experience ever I needed to get a new car (SUV) with winter coming, my other car was awful last year! I researched on line on a couple of different options, safety being the first priority, cost second. First I was looking at a jeep patriot, great 4 wheel drive, bad gas mileage, but then someone at work was talking at work about their mom owning an old Subaru outback and how fantastic it was in the snow! To make a long a long story short, I went in and met with Rick Spieth, he was the most FANTASTIC sales consultant I have EVER worked with!! He was very knowledgeable, he listened to what I wanted and even helped me learn more than I knew about a Subaru! I think what I liked most was, that he took his time and had patience with my hesitance with this decision. When it was all said and done, I got a better SUV, more options and the payment where I needed it to be. I love my new 2015 Subaru Forester, and I couldn't have done it with out you Rick!!! (And of course you as well Bob Russell !) I will definitely come back to Waikem Subaru for my next new vehicle! I More
