We noticed the style of the new Sportage and decided to consider it for our next vehicle. After visiting 3 Kia dealers, we were impressed by the sales and management staff at Waikem over other dealers closer to our area. Jon Ransom was our sales consultant and gave us a very pleasurable buying experience. He also helped us set up the special electronic features of our new Sportage. The set up along with the efficiency of the entire sales process allowed us to enjoy the experience and start our Kia driving experience surprisingly quickly. Thanks also to Bill Ewing for initial pricing and who impressed us at our early phone contact, and Kia manager Chris and Carolyn who started us off with Internet pricing and questions. There was absolutely no switch and bait, no well, I can't say enough about this dealership. Chris, Cameron, Tammy and Robby were great to work with. There was absolutely no switch and bait, no well, " I'm sorry you need more money down", etc. What they told me on the telephone was exactly what took place. It was a very smooth transaction. I will make sure I tell everyone about my experience and push them towards this dealership. I use to sell cars and even my dealership wasn't this smooth. It actually was a pleasure being there. I also was able to get my car right then at the same time I was there. I didn't have to keep going back. Yeah!!! I really appreciate the telephone call from Tammy to confirm my appointment. This is what started my good experience. I went to a different dealership on Monday and what a nightmare. I was told over the phone they would match another dealer's price and when I went to the dealership I wasted 1 1/2 hours of my time, the salesman's time and to boot I drove 1 hour to get there and ended up leaving yelling at the finance person because they now wanted $6,000.00 down. I'm not afraid to say it was Bill Doherty Kia in Medina, Ohio. Please don't anyone go there, you will be so sorry. I did think that there was a $400.00 rebate that I didn't get and I was charged exactly the sticker price which usually a dealership will either deduct some monies off or will give something in return such as mud flaps, spare tire, etc. My fault for not mentioning it. I love driving my car and I wish I would have been able to get the yellow color without upgrading to the next Kia but the silver color was my second choice and I am happy. I wish everyone at Waikem a very happy life. More
