I'm not very pleased with my buying experience here. Despite having had everything lined up 2 days before (tho one of those days was a holiday - thanksgiving), with assurances I could go straight to th Despite having had everything lined up 2 days before (tho one of those days was a holiday - thanksgiving), with assurances I could go straight to the finance office and be out an in hour, I spent 4 hours at this dealership, over 3 hours of which was me standing around waiting. I showed up at my appointment time to a car that wasn't ready to be sold (needed cleaned and gassed up), and had to provide my license and registration which I had provided the 2 days before already. Although I had mentioned I would be leaving a down payment, it wasn't until I got there that I was told I had to have a bank check not a personal check - so I had to go wait in line at the bank as well. After more standing around at the dealership watching people who came in after me leave before me, I finally went back to the finance office, where it was discovered that I needed a paper title to trade in my car, despite having previously asked about this. Luckily I had a paper trail I was able to show and they didn't charge me the $95 it costs for them to get it. I was never presented with any financing options, just given kia financing, but I see on my credit report that I had inquiries into at least 3 places - sales said they don't have access to this for some reason. Some extra minor fees were tacked on for a cardboard plate and such - not sure why these aren't included in the other 495 doc fees they charge? They weren't mentioned on any of the other sales sheets I was given either. The only follow up I've received in the week and a half afterwards was from the sales manager calling to apologize the next day for it being so busy, which wasn't even really the problem - if it was just them being busy I could maybe understand, but as I already had everything lined up I would have thought I would be ushered right to the front. Maybe they prioritized the people who they weren't sure were going to buy a car that day? I'm not sure. I just know I wasn't well taken care of as an assured buyer on a busy day after a holiday where I missed out on family time by standing around at a dealership that doesn't seem to have it together.
