I always have my service on my 2002 Hyundai Kona done at Diehl. They do a great job of taking care of my oil change and tire rotation along with an inspection of the vehicle. I was very happy with Jacob and the entire staff at Diehl Hyundai. My 2024 Kona leasing process went very smoothly as did the turnover of my previously leased Tuscon. Hyundai. My 2024 Kona leasing process went very smoothly as did the turnover of my previously leased Tuscon. More
I recently found a used vehicle on the Diehl Hyundai/Ford of Sharon's website that I was interested in purchasing. Due to living so far away, the salesman did a walkaround of the used vehicle I wanted to pur of Sharon's website that I was interested in purchasing. Due to living so far away, the salesman did a walkaround of the used vehicle I wanted to purchase and stated there was a small ding on the front bumper, and no other blemishes were visible on the vehicle. He agreed that the vehicle was awesome and looked great. We came to a deal entailing me trading in my current vehicle and purchasing a vehicle from them with my own financing. The salesman made an appointment for a Saturday at 11am, stating all the paperwork would be e-signed days before so I could be in-and -out at my appointment time. Mind you, my wife, 2 young children and I were driving 5 hours to get the vehicle. Upon our arrival at the appointment time, we waited a couple of hours extra since they were not ready and backed up. The new vehicle still had to be filled with fuel, which took another 30 minutes, and once we looked at the vehicle, we noticed rust on the back bumper and 4 bald tires. None of this was disclosed to us prior to our 5 hour trip from the online description or the salesman. My wife sat in the lobby and called around for tire prices, and every Ford dealership said they would be around $2000 to replace. Additionally, it would have been another $1000 to repair the rear bumper rust. The sales manager stated that they were not going to fix the issues as it already passed their inspection and was being sold as is. I advised them upon returning to my state, I would have to get the vehicle inspected upon registration, and it would fail with the tires as they sat. After getting ready to leave empty handed, the manager finally accepted to provide us a check of $2000 for the new tires via mail within the next few business days. After bringing the vehicle home, I then had the hassle to find and install 4 new tires, and still was left with a rusty bumper situation to deal with. I was also promised by the finance manager that I would be receiving Ford rewards points for the vehicle purchase, but after contacting Ford Corporate, that was determined to be a lie. After calling Diehl "corporate" and advising him of this lie, he stated that they were not even authorized to certify Ford vehicles and not sure why I was promised this! Also, after driving the new vehicle for approximately one month and numerous phone calls later, I finally received the $2000 that I was promised. And to top it off, Diehl sent in the payoff balance of my trade in to the wrong place and failed to pay off my old vehicle loan prior to the due date (one month later!). Luckily Diehl "corporate" stated they would cover any late fees of that payoff and that my credit would not be affected. I had to get Diehl higher management involved to get my issues resolved, which are all simple standard practices with vehicle purchases. I have bought all of my many previously owned vehicles through dealerships and have never seen a company so confused. I wouldn't expect this kind of nonsense in a private used car sales lot, let alone a Ford dealership. (And I'm still waiting for my title to come in after 60 days, and driving around with out-of-state dealership plates).... I like to believe we are easy going people and do not like to rattle anyone's cage, but felt like this honest and truthful review was needed. More
We had a good experience at the shop. they are building a new showroom and had a makeshift waiting area. It was a little cold. Maybe a space heater as it was nippy out!! they are building a new showroom and had a makeshift waiting area. It was a little cold. Maybe a space heater as it was nippy out!! More
