Disappointing service experience I received a notice from Hyundai that there was a recall on my car, so I called an made a service appointment. When I arrived at the service center, t I received a notice from Hyundai that there was a recall on my car, so I called an made a service appointment. When I arrived at the service center, they told me that the appointment would take 30-40 minutes, so I decided to wait. After an hour and a half passed, I checked in with Adam, the service manager, and asked for a status update. Fifteen minutes later, a different service man spoke to me to let me know that they didn’t even have the replacement part in stock and that they would need to hold onto my car for a week. I was extremely frustrated with this for several reasons. First, in the five days that passed between the day I made the appointment and the actual appointment date, no one at the service center even checked to see if the part was in stock. This extreme inconvenience could have easily been avoided if attention to detail had been paid when the appointment was made. Secondly, I live two hours away from Dickson City and was primarily in town to have my car serviced at the dealership where I purchased by vehicle, as it is important to me to work with mechanics that I have experience with and can trust are familiar with my vehicle. I could not leave my car behind as I do not regularly return to the Scranton area. When I expressed these concerns to Adam, he offered to give me a Visa gift card when I did return for the recall. I recently did return, and to “repay” me for the inconvenience, Adam did not give me a gift card but instead put gas in my vehicle because they “noticed it was low.” My car is a hybrid, and I had just gotten gas the day before, so this token of appreciation could not have totaled more than $5. The only reason I will return to this service center is because I have a remaining free oil change, and I will definitely not recommend this service center or dealership moving forward. More

Good deal but ended up paying more in the end Purchased a used car (2016) from this dealership and from what I thought was a good deal and I was saving money in the long run wasn't so much the cas Purchased a used car (2016) from this dealership and from what I thought was a good deal and I was saving money in the long run wasn't so much the case. bought the car 4 months ago and I get my first oil change and I get told your tires are bad , the back tires just hit a 6/32 and I was told they were "new" and the fronts I guess they were a 2/32 and left used tires on with the car being a AWD this made absolutely no sense to me, better yet when I questioned them on how are my tires so bad after driving only 4,000 miles their response was "we put cheap tires on your car and left old ones on the back" from the service department and that there was nothing they could do about having the car for so little time but now having to replace 2 tires after just hitting 4 months costing me more or even just changing all 4 for so their all the same thread. As a major dealship I think that although it's a used car, doesn't mean you sell mismatched tireds with new tires and used on a AWD car.. More
