It was a good service and they have communicated well. The first time my car was towed and dropped off, the problem was corrected after the diagnostic testing. Recall and TPMS About a year ago I took my 2009 Hyundai Elantra in because the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light was on and I had to see about getting this About a year ago I took my 2009 Hyundai Elantra in because the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light was on and I had to see about getting this fixed. I got an appointment - took it in and after they took it in to look at it they had me sign a paper saying I had to pay $100 just for them to look at my car whether they would repair it or not. After close to an hour a man came out and said I needed to get a new module that controlled they whole system and it was an involved job that would take hours and would cost close to $700. I asked if it would need to be fixed to pass inspection and he said no so I could not see spending that kind of money to keep and eye on my tire pressure. Now, about three weeks ago I got a notice that there was a recall on my Hyundai and it needed attention ASAP so I took it to the Dickson City Hyundai for the recall - no cost. They did the work and then two weeks after they had it my "Check Engine" light comes on. I knew Hyundai would be $$$$ and I was upset that two weeks after they look at it my check engine light comes on. Well I took it to a local repair shop I use and they took care of the check engine light and the TPMS problem too. Turns out when I had my tires rotated at a local tire shop they replaced the Tire Pressure Monitoring unit on one wheel and it was the incorrect monitor. The repair shop I used cost $45 for the single TPMS unit for a single wheel and a few dollars more for the repair. Now all problems are resolved (the check engine light issues and the TPMS problem). How is it that this local Hyundai Dealership repair shop did not see this problem and took $100 from me and also said it would cost another $650 to fix a problem that was a simple problem. All people who deal with this place need to be VERY wary. I will never use them again, even if there is a recall I will drive as far as I need to avoid this place. I would give them zero stars if this were available. Can I get my $100 back since you took it and were ready to take a great deal more of my money for a problem that was an easy fix???? I still have the paper work from Hyundai and may look into going up the ladder to Hyundai Corporate. Time will tell. More
