They are probably good if they don’t have to send you a check . I’ve been waiting a month and have been told it’s in the mail for two weeks. My trade in is on the lot so i should have my check . Would not check . I’ve been waiting a month and have been told it’s in the mail for two weeks. My trade in is on the lot so i should have my check . Would not recommend this dealer unless you finance everything and don't have to wait for them to give you the money they agreed to give you . More
I called Ola around the first of the year to look for a used small truck to replace my Honda Civic lease. A week later Ola called and found a Nissan Frontier and a Ford Bronco Sport in the same price rang used small truck to replace my Honda Civic lease. I went in to buy a new Honda CRV hybrid and they tried to add $4k in markups. I went to Hillsboro Honda because they claimed to have both blue and gray hybrids in stock. Despite the fact I called ahead to ve add $4k in markups. I went to Hillsboro Honda because they claimed to have both blue and gray hybrids in stock. Despite the fact I called ahead to verify the on-site inventory, when I arrived they only had blue and white. At Beaverton Honda they had the white sport-L without the additional fees and I had drove to Hillsboro to look at both the gray and blue ones. The customer service was horrible with the salesperson going back and forth with the sales manager. Eventually, I asked the sales manager to just come and talk to us directly but got the response that I should drive to Beaverton Honda as they had better deals and Hillsboro Honda could not match them. Save yourself the time and headache. More
Had the pleasure of working with Val who was very professional and patient. If you want someone who can just get straight it the point, highly recommend Val. Wish I could leave a separate review beca professional and patient. If you want someone who can just get straight it the point, highly recommend Val. Wish I could leave a separate review because he gets a 5/5. It was very empty/quiet when we went but we were still left waiting long periods of time between our discussions. They don’t have as many complimentary items/accommodations as other dealerships but not a big deal. What dropped the overall rating was Ashley. When negotiations got stuck and she had to come out, she was aggressive, condescending, and downright rude when we explained we had reached our absolute maximum. I understand if we can’t have everything, but all she had to say was “no can do” and let us walk. There was absolutely no need to be disrespectful and talk to us that way. I’ve read previous reviews about her being great so I don’t know what was going on with her. In the end we were able to work out a deal but didn’t have a great experience. Val was the only saving grace so just hope you don’t meet Ashley. More
I had researched mid-sized trucks and decided to test drive the Honda Ridgeline. Sharon Burgess at Dick's Hillsboro Honda responded to my request for an appointment immediately, and made the entire expe drive the Honda Ridgeline. Sharon Burgess at Dick's Hillsboro Honda responded to my request for an appointment immediately, and made the entire experience of test driving, and then purchasing, the truck. She and the other people at Dick's were very helpful, explained things clearly, and did everything they could to help me be comfortable during the process. Highly recommended, I will be buying any future Honda vehicles from them! More
My experience with this dealer started about 3 months ago. I had filled out one of those online applications for funding and was initially contacted by a different dealership, in a different city. That d ago. I had filled out one of those online applications for funding and was initially contacted by a different dealership, in a different city. That dealer didn't have anything on their lot that was in my price range, so I just didn't continue. A few days later I was contacted by a salesman at Hillsoboro Honda. He was nice, but persistent. Yes, I did get multiple calls and loads of emails. Yes, that was annoying - but that's pretty typical in this day and age. I could have opted out or unsubscribed, but I didn't. I spoke with Salesman #1 and picked out a strong possibility for a vehicle - I have some special needs and have to have a vehicle that has certain specs for me to drive it. That particular vehicle was in line to be serviced (recall) and it was taking a while to get done. During that waiting time, I was contacted periodically by the salesman to verify my continued interest and also to present me with some other possibilities. At one point the salesman thought the car was done and ready to be sold, when it actually wasn't - a miscommunication. I got pretty frustrated that it was taking so long, and that miscommunication made me feel that I was being jerked around. Now, here's where the 5 star review comes from: I called the dealership and wanted to know what was happening. I was connected to the GM, Brad. Brad was awesome! He listened, he apologized, and he called the shop to find out what the deal was. He called me back, and explained the situation and reassured me that I was still good to go. The next call I received was from Alex (salesman #2). I explained what was going on to Alex, what my special needs were, and we discussed the car I was interested in. I told him I would be in Portland in a week or so and I would stop by when I had time. I went in and the car was there and looking good...but, although the specs said it would work, it didn't. Alex brought around this Kia Soul, which was higher priced than the other one, but had similar specs. It worked! We attempted to finalize the financials that day, but, with the car being higher priced than the other one, it just wasn't coming together. I left feeling pretty dejected. 2 days later, Alex called me back and said they had the financing figured out. I went in the next morning - and left with my new 2019 Kia Soul. Here's the deal: I have special needs AND I have limited income and resources. This dealership went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle that meets my needs, with a payment I can handle. The vehicle is great, but it's a tool. It's the people who count. Alex is an awesome young man who was definitely raised right and it shows. Brad was excellent to work with and listened to me and didn't treat me as unworthy - as so many people do when dealing with people of limited means & special needs. I highly recommend Hillsboro Honda! More
Trust issues! They cannot be trusted with anything they say. Make sure you record them or take it in writing from them about every freaking thing they say. The They cannot be trusted with anything they say. Make sure you record them or take it in writing from them about every freaking thing they say. They promised to deliver the second key to my car as it was in the xxxxx Hyundai outlet and they were too short staffed to get it. I insisted on collecting it myself from the Hyundai outlet to which they assured me and had my trust by showing they wanted it hassle free so they would just send it via post to me. I have been calling them multiple times to get an update on this but to no vain. They just keep going in circles and mincing around words. I have not seen a business as unprofessional and untrustworthy as this. Please beware of their promises - they are just unprofessional! I am so disappointed with my purchase with them. I wish they understand the value of trust and their word in the market. More
Worst experience, shouldn't be surprised since their salesmen come off as stereotypical used car salesmen who just want to rip you off. I inquired about purchasing a new '23 Honda Pilot. Immediately, salesmen come off as stereotypical used car salesmen who just want to rip you off. I inquired about purchasing a new '23 Honda Pilot. Immediately, I received a text message from Val and an email from J. Kimmel. Of note, it was like communicating in a good cop bad cop scenario. Val and I agreed to on a price and he guaranteed there was a car available. I text Val on the way to the dealership, and agreed that he would be the point person for the sale and to get my car appraised for trade.. Surprise when I arrived, Val was busy so Jimmy who was conveniently waiting at the door welcomed me in. He sat me down to inform me that the Pilot was just sold. He offered me a chance to put money down to reserve the next one coming in but the Pilot wouldn't be available for at least 45 days. Then he went on to say that there were no managers available to appraise my trade in and that it would be at the least, a 2 hour wait. Mind you, all the managers are sitting in the office behind their nice glass walls. Lesson learned and revealed by the car sale men: 1. They need people to walk in the door, so they will do anything to get people to come in. 2. The advertise cars especially new cars tend to not actually be in stock. 3. They want to lock you down to pay to reserve a car that isn't on the lot, and they have no timeline to get in stock. 4. This is the clincher, Jimmy K says that all lots, with the exception of theirs is looking to get the highest bidder to purchase their vehicles..... Yet here we are, car was sold before I got there and no sign of Val. If you want enjoy the xx song and dance and would like to get ripped off, go to this dealership. More
