Wickstrom Chevrolet's service department is very good. There employees are incredibly friendly and nice, they always say hi and they know who their repeat customers are and greet you like a friend, good. I purchased a 2003 Malibu from the dealership on/about February 1, 2013. About a week ago the muffler suddenly sounded VERY loud and I could hear a rattling sound under the car. The muffler had somehow gotten disconnected and they repaired it at no charge and washed my car also. I was very pleased that they stood behind their used cars; even a used car shouldn't have a disconnected muffler after only a month of regular use. Sean was very nice and polite. The dealership itself is pleasant to be in. When I purchased the car the staff was very professional which was important since I was a woman buying a car alone. One reason I purchased my car from Wickstrom was because a friend of mine also purchased her car there and was pleased by the way she was treated as a woman purchasing a car alone. More
In two days, Dick Wickstrom Chevrolet in Roselle did what another dealer couldn't do in six months: fix my driver's seat. The staff was friendly, able to note an issue immediately, and made it possible for m another dealer couldn't do in six months: fix my driver's seat. The previous dealer (see review) had created additional issues with the seat which caused my legs to go numb when driving then refused additional service. No, my seat is straight, even, and comfortable. My legs no longer go numb and I plan to keep the Malibu for the remaining 70,000 miles on my warranty. So, for the next three years I plan to utilize Dick Wickstrom Roselle service center. In addition to being competent at making repairs, they delivered me a loaner car to use. The experience was so easy, exactly how it ought to be. More
Today, I checked my oil, and needed to get it changed. I called last minute and spoke to Sean in Service, asked if he had a time slot available, he worked me into the schedule and also, had my tires rotated,filled them with air and even gave me a car wash. All complimentary!! This is why I love Wickstroms!! My Parents were long time customers, since 1972, I have been to other dealers, but this last summer Jared worked on my deal, along with Mark and Tony in finance. Long story short. They put the wrong oil filter on my vehicle the day before my vacation. Oil leaked out onto the Kennedy Expressway. The towing company they use didn't want to deal with traffic. They got it to me next day after lunch. Vacation travel plans delayed about 1/2 day. Emailed Service Mgr, no response. I'd stay away from their service dept. By the way, the oil change that they did wrong took 1.5 hours and some grease ball got my interior dirty. I also asked them to look at a leak I had in one of the tires, couldn't find it. By some miracle I guess, they were able to find it the next day. Guessing the initial person had no clue??? More
I have been going to Dick Wickstrom service department for over 8 years now. I have had my Trailblazer, Trans am, Camaro SS, Corvette and my GTO serviced there. Terry Biernat is my service writer and he h for over 8 years now. I have had my Trailblazer, Trans am, Camaro SS, Corvette and my GTO serviced there. Terry Biernat is my service writer and he has always been overly accommodating whenever I show up with an issue without calling ahead. I have sent many people to him and all of my friends come back with kind words regarding the service. I am never embarrassed after sending someone to see Terry which is why I keep going there no matter what GM car I own. More

Terry Biernat, of Dick Wickstrom’s Chevrolet in Roselle, Illinois, has been my go-to guy for repairs/service for SEVERAL years. He has never been without a smile coupled with an enthusiastic “Hello, Mr. Mar Illinois, has been my go-to guy for repairs/service for SEVERAL years. He has never been without a smile coupled with an enthusiastic “Hello, Mr. Marcotte!” or “Good morning, Mr. Marcotte!”, remembers to always ask me something specific regarding my last visit, and in general never fails to make me feel welcome and in good hands. Also, I can’t help but note on his truth and honestly; other service shops have used fear as a motivator for me to get my car worked on in areas I didn't even know needed service. Terry has never once made me feel pressure or fear in any way. He seems to respect my pocket-book and will tell me just how many miles have left before any such issue needs attention. This allows be to be more aware of my vehicle and to not feel anxiety every time I head to the service garage. Dick Wickstorm’s Chevrolet has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My parents went there long before I ever did and also have known and valued Terry’s service. At Dick Wickstorm’s Chevrolet I've always felt like I was the part of their community somehow and blame Mr. Biernat for the majority of that feeling. In the world of dealerships and service shops I put Terry Biernat on the top of the list for excellent customer service, fantastic overall communication skills and tremendous car knowledge that he is able to clearly (and never with condescension) articulate to a non car person like myself.
