Terry Biernat, of Dick Wickstrom’s Chevrolet in Roselle, Illinois, has been my go-to guy for repairs/service for SEVERAL years. Also, I can’t help but note on his truth and honestly; other service shops have used fear as a motivator for me to get my car worked on in areas I didn't even know needed service. Terry has never once made me feel pressure or fear in any way. He seems to respect my pocket-book and will tell me just how many miles have left before any such issue needs attention. This allows be to be more aware of my vehicle and to not feel anxiety every time I head to the service garage. Dick Wickstorm’s Chevrolet has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My parents went there long before I ever did and also have known and valued Terry’s service. At Dick Wickstorm’s Chevrolet I've always felt like I was the part of their community somehow and blame Mr. Biernat for the majority of that feeling. In the world of dealerships and service shops I put Terry Biernat on the top of the list for excellent customer service, fantastic overall communication skills and tremendous car knowledge that he is able to clearly (and never with condescension) articulate to a non car person like myself. We have very curious kids and Terry takes the time out of his busy schedule to answer all of their questions from the pictures hanging on his desk to equipment used in the shop that they can see from his desk. I was mildly interested in purchasing a new vehicle and contacted a few dealers to see what was out there. One dealer's salesman looked in to a couple trucks and sensed that I might not be ready and didn't contacted a few dealers to see what was out there. Another dealer's salesman said he'd see what was out there and get back to me in a couple days, and never did. I then called Wickstrom and Jared found the hard-to-find vehicle I was looking for to get me off the fence and I bought it. The personal touch I got from him and Dave Nowicki made Wickstrom feel like a dealership that I could trust and want to do business with. I've since referred my daughter and she's been getting her warranty work and oil changes there since she works very close. She has also had a few co-workers go there for oil changes. The most important aspect in a good relationship with a dealer is trust, and I believe I may have found that. More

Dave Nowicki explained everything to me, he demonstrated the car, and explained the paperwork process and the costs involved with all car purchases. He did so with a great sense of knowledge and personality, a winning combination in my book. NEVER at any time in this process was I ever pressured to make a decision in haste. The trailbalzer (which I did purchase) was delivered to me in extrememly clean condition and was exactly as promised. Throughout the purchasing transaction several management staff came by and chatted, they wanted to be sure that I was being taken care of in a friendly professional manner. I had been to other dealers in the area and was very put off by their lack of professionalism and ethics. Not so at WICKSTROM CHEVROLET, they go all out to make you feel comfortable. After having a bad experience with another Chicago area dealership trying to purchase a new Equinox, I contacted Wickstrom Chevrolet for a quote on the vehicle I was looking for. The price was excellent for a vehicle in high demand and I decided to visit. With the recent bad experience I had, I was prepared for surprises and games. Nothing like that ever happened. Mike Seydlitz and Mark McAllister were exceptionally professional, friendly, and upfront to work with and went out of their way to find the particular color and option combination I was looking for. The trade-in price was very fair and at no point during the process did I ever feel that I was being misled or deceived. When I was finally ready to purchase, I set up an appointment and the vehicle was beautifully detailed out front waiting for me when I got there - the paperwork was easy, fast, and efficient - and, again - with NO surprises or bogus fees or add-ons. Mike also took the time to show me all of the features of the new vehicle. All in all, this was the most exceptional and hassle-free car buying experience I have ever had in my life. I hope to not have to purchase another car for a long time, but when I do it will definitely be at Wickstrom Chevrolet.
