When a last minute flight cancellation rearranged my arrival, he was flexible. I arrived, car was exactly as promised, finished the paperwork and began the trip home in just a few hours. First I went online and checked out Consumer Reports to check out ratings of cars I was interested in, and I was also introduced to and intrigued by the TrueCar pricing feature since I'm not good at and hate the whole price haggling thing . .... and Boom !! ...... I was sent offers/price quotes online from local dealers. ... and luckily one from my guy Mario Medina at WICKSTROM Chevrolet in Roselle. The crew at Wickstrom made the process less of an ordeal and actually an OK , pleasant process , from my initial contact and test drive with my down to earth , patient sales consultant Mario Medina to the finance guys , in fact once they came up with a fair rate the Finance Manager Tony Hayes went a bit further and found a rate even lower ( Mr. Hayes is also a Dog Lover so I knew he was a good guy. ) ..... and he also came up with an extra , potentially valuable bonus that he didn't need to. My BEST vehicle buying experience My wife and I had been looking for a new Tahoe for some time and the Wickstrom Chevrolet Team had one in transit. I called the dealership and spoke w My wife and I had been looking for a new Tahoe for some time and the Wickstrom Chevrolet Team had one in transit. I called the dealership and spoke with Mario over the phone and made arrangements to come in and see the vehicle the following day. We arrived at the dealership later in the day on a Saturday than planned. The vehicle was ready for us to look over and test drive before we arrived at the dealership, and the rest was just fell into place. We worked with Mario, J.T. and Tony for our new vehicle purchase. These guys were excellent. Our vehicle purchase went beyond normal business hours, and the Wickstrom team did not try to rush us through the process. This was by far one of my BEST car buying experiences ever. The next time I need to buy a vehicle, I'll start here at Wickstrom Chevrolet. More

He didn't try to sell us on something we weren't shopping for which made for a fantastic experience. He really sold us on wickstrom chevy of roselle and we would go out of our way to have our new vehicle serviced there just so we could stop in and say hi. Our only negative was that we felt rushed out at the end of the night. We did show up at the dealer an hour before they closed and it was just before close when we committed to buy. Mario was extremely happy to have made a sale and was more than ok with staying "late" to complete the transaction. . I wish though that I could say the same of one of the finance managers. He made more comments than I care to remember including complaints to other salesmen about them being allowed to go home before him and asking Mario to call his wife for him and explain why he was late. It was relentless and he didn't even have the decency to say it with a smile on his face to let us know he was joking. He really seemed bothered and put off by us being there. We bought used and found the perfect car for us so it's not like we had our choice of new cars at any dealer. If it wasn't for THAT car and Mario, we would have walked out the door. More

Within a couple weeks I received a phone call they had found the perfect vehicle for us. So on the way home I stopped to take a look and sure enough it was. I asked to take it home and show my wife, she fell in love immediately. The next day working with JT Pearson the sales manager within a couple hours Via email and text the paperwork was completed, no lost time from work at the office. This man knows his stuff! The next evening went in to pick up the vehicle stopped in and talk to Jared Wickstrom explain to him what a great job his sales team did for us. Met with Mr. Tony Hays finance manager sign the paperwork in ten minutes everything was prepared properly and a pleasure to deal with. One of the best things that happened was a sales consultant Patrick Mola Was showing us all the whistles and bells on the Equinox when he noticed one of the rear tires was 2 pounds low on air. even though the service department was closed that time of night he took it upon himself to bring it back in the shop and add air in the tire for us. That is a great example on how the people at Wickstrom Chevrolet treat their customers with respect and care about your needs.and concerns. They truly treat you as one of their family!
