Excellent Experience The last car I bought was 13 years ago. I started my search in Feb 2020. I walked into Dick Wickstrom without really knowing what Chevy had to offer The last car I bought was 13 years ago. I started my search in Feb 2020. I walked into Dick Wickstrom without really knowing what Chevy had to offer, I had other vehicles on my list to look at. Since I live close to them I opted to just walk in and look around. Sean greeted me and took me through their line-up. Sean is very easy going, very personable guy. I do truly believe he wants to find a car that fits your needs and budget and not just push anything out the door. I ended up really liking the Equinox and took it for a test drive. He of course wanted me to buy that evening, but there was no real pressure to buy right then. He knew I wanted to shop around. The next 2 weeks, Sean kept in contact, but was not overbearing. The Equinox ended up on my short list. Then Covid happened in March. I told Sean I was not ready to buy because I wanted to make sure work was stable. I asked he kept me informed with any new rebates or deals. He did exactly that without flooding my inbox. We kept open dialog until July, when I was ready to purchase the vehicle. I brought the family in, the experience was excellent again. During my time shopping around I went to several dealerships. I honestly think this one had the best service out of all the ones I visited. That wasn't the reason I bought the car, but crappy dealerships have been a reason I didn't buy a car in the past. As for the car, I felt it was the best fit for me and the family out of everything I looked at. I've had it for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier. Sean and the rest of the team made the entire experience as smooth as it could have been during this crazy pandemic. While I hope I never have to use their service department for anything major, so far with my experience with Wickstrom, I'm happy to return. I can’t even put into words how helpful Sean and Tony were to get us financed into a certified 2018 Equinox. Our credit was not the greatest and we had some road blocks but they knew which banks to go th were to get us financed into a certified 2018 Equinox. They let us do an extended test drive and even came to the rescue when I locked the keys in the car. We were really starting to get discouraged, Tony spent the entire morning personally talking with banks to get the deal done! They were so respectful and totally understanding of our situation. We went to many other dealerships who treated us like garbage when we explained our credit wasn’t perfect. Tony and Sean treated us like family.
