Their service deparment is joke I purchased a 2014 Nissan Altima from their St Andrews location and the screw on the brake light that is located on my rear spoiler came out. I got my car serviced 3 previous occasions and told them about the missing screw and they said its a simple fix, and they can take care of it while they were performing the oil change, Screw still missing. So I actually called up there in regards to them not fixing it and they say bring it back, so I do that and they say it will cost me over $100 to replace the screw because they would have to remove the spoiler to do so! You mean to tell me you have a WHOLE service dept and do not own a right angle screwdriver or something to replace the screw with??? That the manufacturers placed a light on a spoiler and didn't create a way to fix problems with that light without having to remove the whole spoiler?? Give me a break!! More

I recently purchased a vehicle from Dick Smith Nissan. Greg Blanks was superb. He listened to what I was looking for and the price range I needed. Greg went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Kent did an INCREDIBLE job with the financing part of my deal. I tell friends and family and total strangers if they are looking for a quality car, great prices, affordable financing look no further than Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Rd. More

The next thing I get is emails from the credit bureau that my credit was being checked. Called salesman and he was running by credit on a another truck that I had not seen and had not heard about any figures on a deal. The salesman told me to come to the dealership to see the vehicle that he had sent out to numerous financial companies, when I got there the vehicle he was trying to sell me had already been sold. If you are local to the area go to Jones Nissan in Sumter, they are honest and cheaper. More
Didn't tell me they do not accept AAA coupons I went to Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Road (where I had purchased my vehicle) to get an oil and filter change and tire rotation. After waiting thr I went to Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Road (where I had purchased my vehicle) to get an oil and filter change and tire rotation. After waiting three hours for the service (which they indicated would only take two), I was informed that they do not accept discount coupons from AAA. They begrudgingly accepted my coupon but indicated that they cannot do it again (which, to my recollection, they had accepted my AAA coupons in the past). As I indicated to the manager, if it wasn't for the coupon, I would not have had my vehicle serviced there. This dealership does not have to worry about seeing me again. They really do need to work on customer service. Note: Dick Dyer Toyota has always accepted my AAA coupons when I take my Corolla in for service. More
PAID $123.81 FOR SCAN AND DIAGNOSTIC AND GOT NOTHING!! Before I took my car in for a recall and to scan computer/ECU I had a mobile mechanic to scan it for FREE. The only code on screen was an IAC Valv Before I took my car in for a recall and to scan computer/ECU I had a mobile mechanic to scan it for FREE. The only code on screen was an IAC Valve. I also spoke to a guy at dealer days before I brought my car in that told me he would charge $90. So I decided to let dealer do recall (free) and scan (was $90 on phone $123.81 in office) They stated that they could not scan car for codes because of an unexplained issue with the ECU. They also stated that they checked the transmission and it needed to be replaced but did not explain why... I left my vehicle with them for 2-3 days. I spoke to Assistant and Service Managers but all they can say is that the paperwork says that I had a problem with car slipping when driving around 18-20 MPH. If that was my only problem then why would I bring my car to you for the service guy to tell me the same thing? So, I have no paperwork with codes which is the reason why I let them look at my car. A few days after I left dealer I had mechanic to scan vehicle again ($35) and the same code for IAC Valve is on screen. I put my trust into an alleged reliable dealer for them to tell me nothing when I could have gone to Auto Zone and had it scanned for FREE!! More

Then you are sent over to the financing department where you are persuaded to purchase extended warranty and gap insurance since the warranty has added $1500 to $1800 to the price. My wife and I purchased a used 2011 Nissan Maxima on Friday September the 4th and drove it home since the service department employees had left for the day. I was supposed to take it back on Saturday for servic department to make another key. Well, the car was dropped off at 11:30 am and at 3:30 pm I called and asked if the car was ready. I was told I needed to talk to service manager who then tells me it has a vapor leak. Since this was a certified pre owned you would assume the vehicle was already inspected before putting it out on the lot for sale. This was September the 5th and the shop was closed Monday for Labor Day. I was promised it would be fixed by Wednesday of the following week. Nope, we picked it up on September the 17th and the car was supposed to be detailed and it was not, but we drove it home anyway. My wife tells me the service engine light came on. So, I decided to at least wash it and started noticing the fiberglass on the front was scrapped real bad and the Fiberglass was cracked along with the paint. It appears the car has multiple scratches that were nor observed when we purchased on September the 4th. I took the car back and mentioned all this to the service manager and he assured me it would get corrected. Of course, I pick up at 3:00 pm today and the hood now has new scratches and fiberglass front spoiler is still cracked. I am very dissatisfied and will never purchase a vehicle from Dick Smith Nissan In the future. I am still suspecious the service department damaged my car while in their care for over a week! More
Absolutely Stay Away These people are completely clueless!! Please stay away from them. I've never in my life had such a bad experience at a Nissan dealership. My teenage These people are completely clueless!! Please stay away from them. I've never in my life had such a bad experience at a Nissan dealership. My teenage son has more knowledge of what's wrong with a vehicle than this entire service staff. I wouldn't take a rock to them for service or fixing. They should be put completely out of business. The only thing keeping me with Nissan is I've owned them for 15 years now and know that they are great cars. Nevertheless, the workers in this service department are as clueless as they come. I should have known better when I was told the repairman wanted to drive my car home overnight!!! I've never in my life heard anything like that. WTH!! Sounds like he needs a car himself or a bus pass. More
Don't buy here. I regret buying a car from here. I've had my car for a year now, and every time I get in it, I wish I would have never bought it. As a first tim I regret buying a car from here. I've had my car for a year now, and every time I get in it, I wish I would have never bought it. As a first time car buyer (young and naïve), this dealership made sure to take full advantage of that. The sales rep was rude, the experience was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. But as any young and naïve person, I found the car of my dreams (so I thought) so it didn't matter. I found a car that was the color I wanted, and had all the bells and whistles that I had hoped for -in my price range- but I couldn't have been more wrong. After leaving the dealership, I realized that my owner's manual and floor mats were not in the car. I called to see if they could mail them to me and I never received a call back. I called and asked to speak to Mike and Mark, specifically, but they were always busy and apparently too busy to remember to call me back. The car has been an issue since I purchased it, and I honestly feel like I was gipped. I bought a piece of crap. It's a 2010 Nissan Maxima... one previous owner and a clean car fax. "Passed" the point inspection and seemed great. NOPE. I just don't understand why you would feel okay and comfortable with selling "an accident waiting to happen" to a first time, young, car buyer. I don't have parents to assist in the purchase, I work hard for everything I have, and this was a big investment for me. It takes a real xxxxxxxx to take advantage of someone in such a vulnerable state - and he knew that. Lesson learned. More

According to Mark, the cluster which is the sending unit and sensor has been fixed twice by the same mechanic. Really & it's still messing up ? I then take my car for the recommended 30000 service, since then, my gas mileage has been less per fill up. Jud Smith said my car was road tested & should get 418 per fill up because it has an 15.8 tank with 26mpg & that he was embarrassed that he had to go show the service dept about my car & told me that if my fuel light should come on around 388 miles, if it comes on before that, bring the car back. The fuel light comes on at 341 miles, I make an appt, Damon the service manager, calls me 9 minutes later & sais everything is fine with my car. He also tells me that I may be just paying more attention to this now & that Jud Smith has told me inaccurate information. I speak to Jud that day & ask him if they told him how when they car won't hold anymore gas, but the fuel gauge only goes to 3/4 full ? He said no, he then said to keep one more gas receipt & if this happens bring it back to him. I have been up there 3 times, changed gas stations & gas companies (shell, bp). I now don't know when my car will run out of gas & am saving up to have another mechanic look at it. The car's still under warranty & Dick Smith has been paid every time. They also gave me back my remotes that weren't working & only 1 works now. This is my 3rd & last car to purchase from Dick Smith Nissan ! More
