They suggest but never pressure you to purchase additional service and their demeanor is calm and business like. Great job and yes I would and have recommended purchase of a Hyundai and your service department to others. More

With all the great features, but only manuals to help me learn the controls, I was a bit overwhelmed. I went to Dick Smith Hyundai to see if someone could help me learn everything on a person-to-person basis. Lance, who works in sales, very generously took time out of his busy schedule to walk me through the. numerous settings, etc. He went above and beyond for me, and I wasn't even a potential customer! I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in the Greenville, SC area looking to purchase a Hyundai. He's a customer service professional who provides excellent care we'll beyond the initial buying experience. More
0 for 2 on good service experiences I bought a new 2017 Hyundai from Dick Smith over the summer. Decent sales experience. Salesman was knowledgeable, I did have to work for the best deal I bought a new 2017 Hyundai from Dick Smith over the summer. Decent sales experience. Salesman was knowledgeable, I did have to work for the best deal, but at the end of the day I think I walked away with a fair price and I love my car. However... part of the pitch I got was on how great the service center was, that I was buying into the better followup, a year of free oil changes etc. I went for my first free oil change... and despite having an appointment, it took over 3 hours. On a Saturday. It took so long (I guess) because they were performing non-essential recall updates, which is fine, but would have been nice if someone had updated me prior to the two hour mark (I finally got up and asked), and had been asked if I had time for them to do the non-essential recalls or wanted to make another appointment. I could have had plans that didn't include a 3 hour oil change. Free is great, but my time is worth something too. But the biggest issue (and I would give it negative stars if I could) was that one of the tires that came on my car began to bulge after only 5100 miles. I called to inquire about my tire warranty, and the service department said I would have to talk to my salesman. I call the salesfloor, and after being hung up on and calling back, am told he is no longer with the dealership, and I will have to talk to the financial guy, but he's busy and I'll have to leave a message. I do. He has never returned that message. (it is now 2 weeks later) I dig my warranty brochures out of my glove box and call back to inform them that I do in fact have a manufacturer warranty, and they agree to look at the tire. They then tell me that the damage is my fault, that I must have hit a curb, but it is surprising because there is no damage to my wheel which usually occurs, but nonetheless, my fault. I haven't hit any curbs. Nothing but typical SC potholes, which a tire really should stand up to for more than 5000 miles. Even a cheap tire. So now I am in need of a tire. They then proceed to try to sell me the exact piece of junk import tire that just failed for $226 installed. FOR A SINGLE TIRE!!!!!! That doesn't even have a mileage warranty on it. That's just insulting. Why would I put the same tire back on the car to do this again in 5000 miles? I want all of those cheap tires off of my car. It could have blown out and injured me or someone else. So, they will sell me 4 Goodyear Eagles, which I had already priced at $200 less from a Goodyear franchise in town. I say no thank you, so they put my spare on, and I leave. I make plans to take it to Goodyear the next day to get all the tires replaced, but then find they failed to PUT MY WHEEL BACK IN MY CAR!!!! So now I have to make time the next morning to go back by Dick Smith, get my wheel, before I can take it to Goodyear. I am not usually one to write negative reviews. But when I bought the car, my salesman bugged and hounded me multiple times in person and by phone to leave him a 5 star dealertrader review, and I did because it was a decent experience, but since it is so important to Dick Smith that they get their reviews, I wanted to leave another. I am so disappointed in the service experience. I will never buy another car from them after this. That tire had 5000 miles on it. They should have made good on it. For lack of a tire I'm sure cost them less than $100, they have lost a customer. I'll probably get my free oil changes, but will do no further business with them and make sure my friends are advised not to as well. I will say to be fair the service rep that helped me the day of the tire issue was friendly despite me being less than happy about things, but at the end of the day, I got no help and incompetence by the service workers not putting my wheel back in my car and having to double back. I will also say I got a great deal and great tires from Goodyear in Mauldin and have been happy with them and feel much better not driving on junk tires that might blow out. Don't get your car serviced at Dick Smith. Or buy a car there. Because apparently they don't care to stand behind it. More

I felt like family from the entire location by the time I left. Walter took his time to show me several cars more than once and give me appropriate time and space to think about my decision. I left with an amazing deal & I am so pleased that I decided to make that drive. It was a great experience and I will continue to refer my friends and family! More

Very helpful finding just what we wanted, but not pushy over over bearing. He was great. Jason Styron, the business manager, that handled the paperwork also did great. He explained every detail is easy to understand terms and was very friendly. We would recommend both of them to anyone and will continue to use Dick Smith in the future. Our Tuscon (2nd one) is great. More
