My Experience Just want to write about my experience. This summer traveling to the beach the check engine light came on in my new Ford vehicle. Drove to Classic For Just want to write about my experience. This summer traveling to the beach the check engine light came on in my new Ford vehicle. Drove to Classic Ford and approached Dean Ray about checking it out. There are four guys standing behind computers and not another customer in sight. He explained they just "had too much to do" and could not provide any help. I explained I just need to know that nothing serious is wrong and ask for the service manager. Dean walks into the service bay and makes a phone call then allows me to see Andy Wilson the service manager while he stands behind me the whole time. Andy Wilson gives me the same "we are just too busy" while I am standing in his office looking at at these three guys (Dean is standing behind me) sitting behind computers. So I have to drive to Dick Smith Ford and explained my situation to Rick Wheeler a service lane supervisor. He immediately left his computer and came back with a code reader. Plugged into my vehicle and explain he was getting "several misfires" as the reason for the light. Explained it could be bad gas, gas cap not on tight, or could me much more serious and asked if I would like the light turned off. He turned off the light, I drove to a nearby gas station filled the tank and have not seen the light since and have driven many miles since. IMHO Classic Ford does not do customer service well and Dick Smith Ford is where you should do business. More

I had a brand new Ford motor installed in Virginia after my van broke down on I-95. WIth less than 1,000 mile on the new motor it caught fire. Their motor specialtist came to the conclusion the motor was damaged during installation. It seams the valve cover seals or gaskets were damaged causing it to leak some sort of fluid, causing it to catch fire. My question is how could the gaskets get damaged during installation when they were not even touched when the engine was put in. The motor was installed completely assembled. Because their tech said it was done during installation they are not honoring the warranty. Are you saying you manufacturer is perfect and there is no way it happened during the assembly of the motor. NOW I am fighting about who is gonna pay the 1,000 Dollars to fix it. I did nothing but pay 6,000 Dollar to have my van fixed. Are you kidding, what good is the warranty. More
Service Department Apparently an "appointment" is not arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place. instead I scheduled an appointment to have a recall don Apparently an "appointment" is not arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place. instead I scheduled an appointment to have a recall done on my car, only to show up, wait six hours for them to not do anything but get grease in my car and curb one of my tire sidewalls. No work performed. I'm more than upset. What else can you expect from a dealership tho. More
Go somewhere else . You won't regret it! I went in for my first free oil change so I thought I'd check on the prices for a new F 150. I was pressured to make a sale. I went in at 11:00am on Saturday as I verified on Friday. I had another appointment at 1:00pm at another dealership to do the same. It took them over 3 hours to change my oil when I was told it would only be an hour maybe an hour and 15 minutes. My salesman had the nerve to tell me that the offer was only good till 4:00pm. I turned around and walked away and didn't look back. Classic Ford treated me like a human being. Enough said! More
Waste of time and money They charged me $100 to tell me they couldn't hear a noise that had to listen to the whole way home. Took it to my local guy; it was a wheel bearing. Try to nickel and dime me. I brought my car in because I heard a hard sound in my engine so I was getting it diagnosed to see what's the problem Tom the services advisor check m I brought my car in because I heard a hard sound in my engine so I was getting it diagnosed to see what's the problem Tom the services advisor check me in I advice him that the sound I heard was coming from my engine ok they say it would take a couple of days to diagnosed so when they diagnosed the car it came back to be catalyict converter on my muffler so I paid 1400 hundred dollars to get replace because they say it was the problem and doing so I assume it was goin fix the problem so I save up 1400 got my car fix supposedly took them 30 mins to locate my car on the property so by the time I got it they where closing didn't really get to check the car out drove it for a couple of days the problem came back then eventually my number 5 cylinder blew from my car while I was on the way to take it back on the fourth day of supposedly getting fix so they tell me of we didn't have a way of knowing the engine was goin go unless we got this fix to see if it wasn't another major problem but if y'all say after y'all fix it n still here unusual sound from the engine but didn't let me know when I got the car would I really felt comfortable takin back off the lot the new engine plus service is 7500 which that's almost 9 grand of work on a car but my think is they don't care bout there customer to let someone drive off with issue still pending on the car and acting like everything is good so I definitely won't advise you using there service department because of the lack of customer caring when handling someone's vehicle and letting u drive off with an unsafe car without telling u about it More

Instead, I p I purchased a Ford Focus from this dealership three years ago. I felt bullied by the car salesman and should have walked out immediately. Instead, I purchased a Ford Focus. It is a piece of junk. Within two weeks, the cars electronic system died and it took them over two months to fix it. Fast forward to about two and a half years later. The same part of the car died. The service manager informed me that this never happened, that he hadn't ever heard of it happening. I asked how it was possible that the same piece had died on mine twice? Apparently, it was a fluke. When I pressed further, he said he didn't build it and it wasn't his problem. I talked to a second individual and he also repeated the line, "I didn't build it." I find this disturbing. It seems to be the go to line at this dealership. This suggests that they don't think very highly of the product they are selling. Having spoken with someone with works at a car deanship, he said they should have at least my a courtesy call to the manufacturer to see if they would assist with the cost of the new part as I had already had to replace it once. Again, I got the "I didn't build it line." To top this all off, I asked Roger Neal, the service manager if the car would be finished by Monday. He said the car would be done today. I received a call that the part was damaged and it would take even longer than the original date Tom gave me. I would recommend both purchasing and servicing your car at another deanship. More
