Incredible Service Department! Bear with me here, because I want to give a thorough and honest review. I bought a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Dick Scott 2 years ago from mostly Bear with me here, because I want to give a thorough and honest review. I bought a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Dick Scott 2 years ago from mostly because they had the car I was looking for, but also because it was convenient that they were in Fowlerville where I lived. Though to be fair, I looked at dealerships all over SE Michigan for the better part of a year before making a purchase decision. The Sales experience was not bad and probably better than most but also nothing that made me go "Wow!" I can't remember my sales person's name and haven't heard from him since but that's typical, I think. When I purchased the car, I also purchased the extended warranty because I drive vehicles for a long time and I was concerned mostly about all of the electronics on the newer vehicles. I initially took the car to Dick Scott's service department for basic maintenance and a few minor issues that I was surprised were covered under the warranty I purchased like a rattling seat and stereo firmware upgrades. Each time took the car in, I left feeling impressed by the customer service and support. I always left feeling like I was the most important customer that day...sort of like I was flying first class. But the truth is, while I appreciate it, I really didn't think a ton about it until I recently moved and took my car to another Chrysler dealership only 3 miles from my new house. My car developed a noise that sounded a bit like a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle. The noise admittedly came and went so when I wasn't going to need it a few days, I dropped it off at the closest dealership. I am not writing a review about that dealership here, so I won't go into a lot of detail but I will say that while they had the vehicle for 4 days, they did not identify or fix the problem. The attitude and lack of desire or effort to address my concern stood in such stark contrast to what I had become accustomed to at Dick Scott was astounding. So much so that I drove an hour back to Dick Scott just to ask them for help. I spoke with Scott Combs, the service manager and explained the situation to him. It was like going home again. The welcoming attitude alone was enough to make me feel better, but over the next 2 days, I became blown away by how much effort Scott and his team (especially Nick Lennard) put into fixing the issue and making me feel appreciated and valued as a customer. It was so far over and beyond that this review does not even come close to describing my appreciation. The thing is, this experience made me realize how much different the service I had thought was normal before, was actually comparatively superb. It is definitely NOT convenient for me to continue take my car to a dealership an hour away, yet I will do so in the future. The value of their outstanding customer service makes any inconvenience absolutely worth it! More

They fixed another issue with a previous shops repair that was done wrong and didn't charge me for it. I have after market rims and had to find a place to do the alignment. They could have just sent me on my way but they Jesse in service got on the phone and found a place to do it for me. Then to the collision center for my tailgate dent to be repaired and fresh paint job. Again they amazed me when they fixed 2 other small dents and didn't charge me. Thank you Brian! It's so appreciated to have a dealership not rake you over the coals. In addition they were all super nice and communication couldn't have been better. I will be back and highly recommend these guys. More

Was very impressed with the professionalism of the Service Department - from start to finish. The Service Manager, Scott Combs, was great from explaining what they found, to explaining what was needed. We told him it was a "second car", and not needed immediately but he called to tell us when parts were ordered, and when they came in. Very attentative and professional. I wish I had the name of the actual mechanic that serviced the car. He did an awesome job! I have a 12-year old car that runs like new. More
Saved the day, best service experience ever! My vehicle was in another shop with that shop not being able to even provide a time frame for when it would be looked at or repaired. Since I needed my vehicle back asap I called Scott to see if he could help and he came to the rescue. He offered to have a tech look at it right away if I brought it in. He introduced me to the mechanic once I arrived so I could give him info on the issue to help speed up the process. Scott even had a rental car lined up for me with a shuttle ride to get it by the time I got there. In less than a day they had it diagnosed, parts located, the repair completed and drove it for a bit to ensure the repair had held. They took my phone call for a status update right away and not only without hassle but with genuine understanding for my inquiry and very respectfully. Not only did they get my car working again by the time I needed it by but the vehicle was spotless as well: protective plastic seat and steering wheel covers and a protective floor mat where in place when I picked it up and not a mark on it anywhere. It was nice to see them respect my investment as if it was their own... a far cry from past service experiences elsewhere that left black grease smeared on my cream colored leather seats and console. Scott even handled returning the rental car for me. Scott Combs - Amazing! Dick Scott Service Center and their staff - Amazing! I will recommend them to everyone. More

Recently, I dropped off my new 2017 Jeep Wrangler to get its first oil change, tire rotation, and the MasterShield Paint Protection and Scotch Guarding. While my vehicle was there, the technician did not park it in line with the other vehicles and my Jeep was struck in the front end by another patron. After 2 weeks, I received my Jeep back only to have it look like the photos attached to Google. Now, when I dropped my Jeep off, I purposely left it dirty to ensure that the MasterShielding was done correctly. For paint protection and scotch guarding to be done correctly, the entire vehicle must be cleaned (I have applied these products and called 2 Jeep dealerships to verify their process). All of the original bugs, dirt, grime, etc that was there when I dropped it off, was still there when I got it back. Even my coworkers made comments about not believing the work was done. If it was, it was done incorrectly. Also, a spot on the hood that was there when I bought it was supposed to be buffed out and it was stated that it was completely buffed out. You can clearly see in 2 pictures that it is not. So, I gave Dick Scott a chance to investigate and they stated that the Jeep was cleaned inside and out, but that it got that dirty in a 90 minute trip with only one person in the vehicle. Please refer to the pictures that I posted to Google. Look at the interior door jams and tell me how that gets dirty in 90 minutes? Also, how did so much dirt and bark get UNDER the back seat? That was all there from when I hauled wood before I dropped it off. They stated they would be sending me a bill for the $450. Of course, I will have to pay it or it will affect my credit. I am not concerned about the $450. I paid cash for the Jeep. I am concerned that, like Nick stated, the service shop cannot be trusted. I understand that as sales reps, you have to trust your employees in the other departments. But, pictures do not lie. If the work was done, it is the worst work I have seen regarding car detailing. I would have accepted an honest answer of "We were in a hurry and didn't clean the vehicle first, give us a chance to make it right." Accidents happen, but covering up with lies is completely unacceptable. Do NOT, under any circumstances, take your vehicle here or conduct any business with these people. They had ample opportunity to be honest with me. The technician who performed the work on the vehicle should be ashamed to be that careless if he even did the work in the first place. I wish I would have read Nick's review before taking my Jeep there. I will be contacting Nick to see how he would like to proceed in bringing these issues to Jeep Corporate. Pregnant and stuck in the middle of nowhere! My van broke down on the highway in Fowlerville and I had it towed to Dick Scott Motor Mall. I was from way out of town, had no clue where I was, I wa My van broke down on the highway in Fowlerville and I had it towed to Dick Scott Motor Mall. I was from way out of town, had no clue where I was, I was 7 months pregnant and I was supposed to be in Ann Arbor that evening. One of their staff ,Scott Combs was the most helpful person I could have asked for. They not only figured out what was wrong with my van, but got it right in and fixed it, and had me on my way within a few hours. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am so grateful for the help and understanding I received that day! If you're going to break down, you want it to be here! More

Overall Excellent Experience I recently purchased my wrangler from this dealership (that in itself was a great and fun day, but this review is about the service department). The service team went far above and beyond any expectations. The issues I was experiencing were not included in my warranty, they very easily could have charged me for the work they did, the fact that they didn't shows me just how important customer service is to them. They even hooked me up with a loaner car! Scott took the time to give me a private lesson on operating my wrangler's soft top. Jesse is friendly and welcoming, a true asset to the team, it wouldn't have been the same without him. I will forever remember my experience and recommend this dealership as often as possible....Starting with you;) If you buy an off roading vehicle, you gotta try out the obstacle course! More
