Once the car was ordered I was told it would be delivered in 8 to 10 weeks. It was. Every week Jim Scott emailed me an update which I appreciated. The dealership and sales staff are professional and intelligent. The dealership itself is clean and has numerous different vehicles to choose from. I couldnt think of a negative thing to say. Buying or leasing a new vehicle should be a good experience. Sadly enough, it often times is anything but that. I appreciate coming into a dealership and being treated in a supportive manner rather than being subjected to a hard sell approach. Larry Welsh is a pro. Needless to say, he needs to sell the product to make a living. However, his approach was a no nonsense and helpful experience. The mayor of Plymouth, Dan Dwyer said Larry is the best and I will in turn be sending people to Dick Scott to see Mr. Welsh More

He did a great job with his 'pitch' which really wasn't a pitch at all. Very easy to work with, and talk to. We knew pretty much we were looking for when we came in and he did an excellent job finding our goal. It has only been 2 days, but we are very pleased with our vehicle so far. He made it easy. I also love the fact that our elementary school's pta will recieve $100 from Dick Scott, since we made a purchase. Outstanding perk! More
With 18,504 miles on 2008 Grand Caravan, I brought it in for a grinding noise. I used the night drop off because at 5:50 p.m. the service doors were locked. The following day the service tech informed me for a grinding noise. I used the night drop off because at 5:50 p.m. the service doors were locked. The following day the service tech informed me the vehicle needed both front and rear brakes. He stated Chrysler acknowledged problem with fronts wearing prematurely and I had to pay $100. Rears would be $460. I declined this rediculous amount but still had to pay the inspection fee. I replaced the rears myself with aftermarket parts ($85.00). THEY HAVE TO GET MORE THAN 18,000 MILES AND HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!! I have owned dozens of cars and have NEVER gotten so few miles on a set of brakes. especially the rears. The tech pretty much said that would be the case (ie brakes every 18-20,000 miles) without apology. I cannot imagine any circumstance that will cause me to purchase another chrysler product and intend to inform anyone who will listen of this absurdity. More
The work they did made the van as good as new. They went the extra mile to do it right. They completed the job when they said they would. I went to look at the 2008 Dakota on Monday evening. Lindsey was very nice and allowed the vehicle to be put up on a lift so I could inspect the underside in detail. It checked out well except for a leak in the transmission cooling line where it went into the radiator (later fixed). I then took it on a test drive where I found an issue with the transmission hesitating when downshifting at 45 MPH, rattle coming from the front brakes on the driver's side and the starter making an odd noise upon starting. All of these items were supposedly looked at and corrected. However, I was told that the starter issue was "just the way it was on that vehicle", the transmission shift issue was adjusted electronically and the noise coming from the brakes was in the "fascia", not the brakes. My second test drive last night showed the starter still sounds funny upon starting cold and the noise in the brakes is still there. When I step on the brakes, the noise stops, so it has to be in the disc brake assembly. I went ahead and bought the vehicle after consulting with friends and another dealer since it was considered by all to be a good deal. However, I decided to purchase the 3 year extended warranty due in part to the incomplete service provided by Dick Scott, but due mainly to the mileage on the vehicle (90K+) I feel that Dick Scott's staff should do a more thorough job in correcting issues on a quality used vehicle like this truck so that the customer feels more postive about the purchase. If your price had been $1000 higher, I would not have purchased the vehicle given the doubts I had about it that were not addressed satisfactorily. Also, please note that Lindsey Burns still owes me the Owner's Manual that she said would be mailed to me in about 2 or 3 weeks. It needs to be for the exact model, a 2008 Dodge Dakota SLT with all the options that this truck has. Thanks, Mark Bukowski More
My experience with Dick Scott has always been a very pleasant one, dating back to service on a 1999 Dodge Intrepid I once owned. Now, I have purchased a 2011 Chrysler 200 Touring sedan which has exceede pleasant one, dating back to service on a 1999 Dodge Intrepid I once owned. Now, I have purchased a 2011 Chrysler 200 Touring sedan which has exceeded my highest expectations, in quality, extra features and price. My trade-in was a 2009 Chevy Malibu which I loved, but after test driving a 200 sedan, I had that "gotta have" feeling. When Yvonne informed me she could find the deep cherry crystal with the black and tan interior in one day, I decided this was the car for me and it was cleaned and ready on Tuesday, April 5th as promised. Although I have worked for GM and Ford and have owned many of their products, I have a soft spot in my heart for Chrysler products. In the past I have owned a Chrysler New Yorker,a Maseratti TC convertible, a leBaron convertible and most recently a 2002 Chrysler 300M. I loved them all.I live about 4.5 miles away from Dick Scott, so that also is a nice convenience. I am looking forward to helping Chrysler again when it comes time to turn the 200 sedan in 2 years. Took my 2010 van in for a rattle in sliding driver's side door and also for regular maintenance. Picked up van and found dirty carpet and door still had an intermittent rattle on trip home. Went right back. door and also for regular maintenance. Picked up van and found dirty carpet and door still had an intermittent rattle on trip home. Went right back. Door stopped rattleing on trip back. Allan Martich introduced me to Joe Prokes who personally drove the van to ensure door was not making noise. He had the carpet cleaned when we returned from test drive. Joe Prokes also requested that I go directly to him if I had any further door issues. I believe any car dealer can and will have problems. This type of customer attention makes a superior dealer. Thanks! Larry Ripple More
