Mr. DeLong, Indeed, you have been a good customer. I sincerely apologize for what sounds like a lack of communication on our part with you regarding your vehicle. I also apologize that your expectations for the completion of all repairs was set at 5 days following us receiving all of the parts. This was communicated to you by your insurance company who was not in a position to do so. Unfortunately, yours was one of thirteen hydro-locked engines in the shop for repair from the late May flooding. We repaired the vehicles, and continue to repair the vehicles, as they came in; we repaired them in order by date and time. Shame on us for not being more clear to when your vehicle might be ready for pick up. I am aware of the extra delay once the vehicle was completed with regard to you getting back into your vehicle. This should not have occurred and if there was any extra out-of-pocket expense to you for a rental vehicle, please contact me as I would be more than pleased to assist in that cost.
