I walked into the Dealership, everyone was smiling, customers being taken care of and I knew I was in the right place. Larry Walsh who ended up taking over for Jason knew his products, and most importantly to me was knowing the inventory prior to them receiving into their system, he saw my car come in the day before. Both Jason and Larry are extremely professional, I see them as make it happen individuals with a deep sense of passion for their respective careers. My son in law has been wanting me to do business with Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge for years, I am glad he pushed even harder this time around for a new lease vehicle Dealer. While checking out the car prior to leaving I noticed a few scratches that were immediately tended too by Larry and the service department. I went back over the car again and noticed a dime size piece of paint was gone in the front bumper under the grill, immediately Larry set up an appointment for service next week and I am having mud flaps put on the car. Larry Welsh once again is being very accommodating as he springs into ACTION and making good on efficiency, promises and his word.. Jason Scott worked out a deal for my new lease which was the same as my prior Dealership. Dick Scott had what I wanted and I am glad I chose to purchase there.. More
Was quoted one price (in writing), then when we arrived at dealer to complete sale, different price was shown ($280 more). Explanation was that someone 'fat-fingered' the 'friends & family' price typed in at dealer to complete sale, different price was shown ($280 more). Explanation was that someone 'fat-fingered' the 'friends & family' price typed in 'upstairs' and this was the price quoted. According to both Sales & Finance, nothing could be done because dealer needs to sell 1% below MSRP. Had other dealers quoting me different numbers for same vehicle (you don't have to use 'friends & family' pricing) and your dealership could have done something besides giving me 4,000 service points (big deal..really?). Because I was going out of town for 3 weeks and my son needed this vehicle to head off to school before I returned, I needed to buy that day. I want a personal call from Jason Scott to explain what went down and how you may wish to re-earn my future business. Totally un-professional...it's no wonder why I hadn't bought Chrysler product in awhile...Vince Austin (734) 644-4476. We purchased a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan from Dick Scott Dodge-Fowlerville. Our sales rep was Neil Weaver. The day after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed the plastic key was split at the top. I cannot say it was broken when I bought the vehicle because I did not closely examine each of the keys. I spoke with our sales rep, Neil, regarding the key and he indicated that the key was in good condition when the van was purchased and therefore the cost is my responsibility. Not casting blame on any party .... just want to make a comment that $200 for a plastic key with a microchip is pretty costly. More
Larry Welsh was my sales rep for my new 2011 Dodge Charger. I still had quite a bit of time left on the contract of my 2009 Charger but really wanted the new one. Larry and Jason were both very informative and patient with me and helped me to see "the big picture". They are both seasoned sales professionals that I would have no problem recommending to friends or family, but yet always make me feel like I'm family. I've gone to Dick Scott Dodge for the past several years because of their quality service and large selection of vehicles and will continue to do so for many more! More
I’ve dealt with dealerships across the Metro Detroit area. As many of us know time is becoming a rare commodity. Depending on where my travels take me basically determines what dealership I use for wa area. As many of us know time is becoming a rare commodity. Depending on where my travels take me basically determines what dealership I use for warranty work. I was working with a different dealership on a problem when two more problems cropped up. Even though the original problem was solved, the other dealership tried to convince me that the new problems were not there. The end of my warranty was two weeks away so I couldn’t sacrifice the time to argue with the dealership. During this process my travels took me to Plymouth. So I did a search on the Dodge web site and came up with Dick Scott. I told Joe Prokes about my two problems and asked if he could help. He told me to bring my vehicle in and have one of the Service Advisers take it for a test drive. I arrived at the dealership and Harley gave my vehicle a test drive. We didn’t even get completely out of the Service Bay and he verified both problems. I was put into a rental covered by the warranty and they started work on my vehicle. One problem was finished the next day while I had to wait on parts on the second problem. I was given the option to return the rental and come back when the parts arrive which was projected the next week. I decided to keep the rental even though I would have to pay for part of it. To my surprise, they received the new part ahead of schedule and the work was completed on one of their evening shifts. I was back in my vehicle before the weekend. When I picked up my vehicle ALL the people in the Service area were extremely nice to me. Harley was busy on the phone so the other Service personnel made sure I knew where to go to settle my bill (didn’t have one it was warranty work). Someone brought my vehicle around. I’ve never had this kind of service before! My vehicle ran great and no new problems. I’ve dealt with six (6) different dealerships in the local area including Dick Scott to which two are no longer Dodge dealerships. Out of all of them to date I would say my best experience has been with Dick Scott. So if you want your vehicle work done in a timely manner, regular notification on the progress of the repair, friendly and helpful Service Advisers, and total satisfaction then I would have to highly recommend Dick Scott. If their sales team contains only half of the customer service that I experienced in the Service Department, I know where I’m going to purchase my next vehicle. More

We were so happy with the value of our trade in and it allowed us to turn around and lease a beautiful new Jeep Liberty and we absolutely love. I could not have been happier with the way we were treated by Nick as he was showing us the different vehicles and explaining our options and equipment on each one. Both Jason and Nick were great and turned what could have been a stressful situation for my husband and I, into a great experience. I went here as a "check" against the Dealer near my house that I first approached. Dick Scott was able to offer more. The service was top notch, there were no suprises. We were at another Dodge/Jeep dealership in the area looking at a new car and left that dealership extremely put off by the games they were playing with us. They clearly knew how much they wanted to gi looking at a new car and left that dealership extremely put off by the games they were playing with us. They clearly knew how much they wanted to give us for our trade in before ever having looked at it. They were also playing a lot of games with pricing. We couldn't take it so we left and went out for dinner. On our way home, we passed by Dick Scott Dodge because we were curious what price they were selling similar cars to our trade in. We then walked around their new car section. We had shown up after their listed closing time but a couple of folks were still there. David Hamel came out to greet us and we explained our earlier experience that evening. He took us into the office and assured us that if we wanted to purchase a new car, he would do everything he could to make it happen. He had our car appraised and they offered us $1,500 more than the other dealership. They also were able to put us in a vehicle one trim level above what the other dealership was proposing, and they did so at less cost. Dave and Dick Scott Dodge went above and beyond, staying after their closing time and taking all the time necessary to work everything out for us. These folks are first class, and we won't forget that in the future. More
