Jim Scales should be the example for new car sales staff to emulate. He was very courteous, knowlegeable, friendly and efficient. He answered all of my question quickly and professionally. What is most impo to emulate. He was very courteous, knowlegeable, friendly and efficient. He answered all of my question quickly and professionally. What is most important to me is the fact that I didn't have to haggle or go through the usual sales hassle with him. Please extend my appreciation to him. More
Had a recall on the tie rod ends of my 2009 Ram Truck.Postcard said should be able to be done in 1-1/2 hours. Service man AL wanted to keep it over night. Service write up men weren't the most informative or courteous. After speaking to the manager Joe, he addressed my issues and was glad to hear them. I will try them again because they have a manager that cares. Service work was quick and clean, I liked that they put plastic on my seats, not all dealerships do that. More

I came in for service to check out my brakes. I was hearing a grinding noise as I slowly came to a stop. I learned I needed brakes all around. I was not prepared for this outcome because I only had a hearing a grinding noise as I slowly came to a stop. I learned I needed brakes all around. I was not prepared for this outcome because I only had approximately 22,000 miles on the brakes. Harley explained most vehicles can expect 20,000 - 25,000 life on brakes. I was disappointed knowing that the life on brakes is so short. Overall, the service was good. Thank you for answering all my questions Harley. More
My husband and I had been shopping around for a Jeep Liberty and had visited several other dealerships around Detroit Metro before trying out Dick Scott. They gave us the best bang for our buck!! (inclu Liberty and had visited several other dealerships around Detroit Metro before trying out Dick Scott. They gave us the best bang for our buck!! (including the best trade-in value for our Escape) Jacin Lohman was very helpful and friendly and made our car buying experience fast and wonderful! While we didn't get the Liberty we originally wanted, he did introduce us to the 2011 Journey that we loved even more! Thank you Dick Scott for setting the standard! Jacin was great and we are definitely spreading the word. More
Dave gave us several options for aquiring a vehicle that we could afford while giving the quotes on the two vehicles that were to be traded in. The vehicle chosen was just placed on the lot that fit our nee we could afford while giving the quotes on the two vehicles that were to be traded in. The vehicle chosen was just placed on the lot that fit our needs...and it was in great condition for a 2006 and really 'showroom' material....and Dave made for a nice experience during the time it took on acquiring the new car...and a few extras included... Our salesman, Dave, was very nice. I just am frustrated by the purchase process. The fact that Dave had to do the song and dance back and forth with a manager to help find an acceptable price is ridiculous by the purchase process. The fact that Dave had to do the song and dance back and forth with a manager to help find an acceptable price is ridiculous. I felt like we were back in the 1970's watching a bunch of men gather around a desk to decide if they could give me a better deal. Really, are we still in that age of backwards bartering? Due to this type of wheeling and dealing approach, the buying process took another 30-60 minutes of my time. I feel it is degrading to the buyer and the salesman to have to use this process and it would be nice to have your dealership step it up and trust your salesman to make the best deal. More
Had an appointment to have the "on" engine light checked. The P code read 0420. I arrived early. My car was kept the whole day. I was told the problem was the 0-2 sensor that I just engine light checked. The P code read 0420. I arrived early. My car was kept the whole day. I was told the problem was the 0-2 sensor that I just had changed. I was told that the engine light would reset. I was over charged $12. i caught this error and it was refunded. The next day the engine light came back on. The P code read 0420. I took my car back to the original mechanic who changed the 0-2 sensor again. Since then the engine light has come on again and the P code continues to read 0420. My car, that I depend on everyday, has been in the shop 3.5 days and is not repaired, It is disappointing that Chrysler will not live up to its responsibility to repair warranted parts. When the service employee Allan called to tell me my vehicle was ready I questioned him on the part that was broken. He informed me that it was not broken (even though my family members and I had to ho vehicle was ready I questioned him on the part that was broken. He informed me that it was not broken (even though my family members and I had to hold the part up with two people to close the stow and go) and asked me to come in for a lesson in how to use my vehicle. I tried to explain the problem and was again told that I would be have to be shown how to use my vehicle. The demeaning tone of Allan toward me was not acceptable. I did bring my van to Dick Scott from Allen Park because of the excellent salesman and our dedication to the dealership. My treatment in no way reflects on the the exemplary sales staff of Dick Scott. More
