Couldn't get a tow truck because vin number wasn't registered. About two weeks later they told her she had to come back and resign paper work as it was processed wrong, changed the date back to Dec. 23. Lots of mistakes on paperwork their excuse was computer glitch!! Sounds very shady. I am a retired employee we have all purchased vehicles from this dealership but no longer. All I can say is buyer beware especially if computer glitchs! More

Purchased a vehicle from Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep. We are out of province, so dealt with the salesperson Michael and Hai over the phone and through email. Very easy to deal with up front. Took quite a We are out of province, so dealt with the salesperson Michael and Hai over the phone and through email. Very easy to deal with up front. Took quite a bit longer to ship than was originally estimated, but finally received the vehicle 2 weeks later than expected. When it arrived the top front panel was crushed in. The transport company had pictures of when it was picked up and the damage was already on it. I provided the pictures to the dealership, as no damage was disclosed at time of sale. I was asked to get an estimate to repair. I provided them with two estimates and one was $9000 and the other $10,000. I took the van in to get it registered and they told me I needed to get an out of province inspection done. When I took it to the mechanic he said he could do the out of province, as there is potential structural damage. So far I have had this vehicle for about a week and a half, but been paying for it since the last week of February. To this day I am still unable to use it. Because some of the dealership personal have been away, I have waited for another week and a half and hadn't heard from anyone. I made over 10 calls to the dealership after the week and a half extra wait time. On the last call a lady at the front desk ensured to me that someone would call me back today. When they finally called back, they said the bill of sale was already signed regardless of lack of disclosure and it was up to me to get repaired. I would expect this if I purchased privately, but we purchased through a dealership to hopefully avoid the unprofessional problems. I have requested a call from the owner Mike at this point. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere, as they do not stand by the product and have been extremely unprofessional in handling this issue. More

If I could leave zero stars I would ! Poor communication and extended wait times which we patiently dealt with. We have had our 2009 Wrangker in for service there multiple times , most Poor communication and extended wait times which we patiently dealt with. We have had our 2009 Wrangker in for service there multiple times , mostly left to pick it up with little to no resolve. Not the best experiences but certainly not the worst Did I mention we have the lifetime powertrain warranty . This time we put it in stating that it was not getting efficient power while accelerating and the engine light was on. After two weeks of calling multiple times for and update with no return phone calls we were finally told that there was a faulty o2 sensor along with needing new plugs and wires and being told the repair for the 02 sensor would be $583. Thanks but no thanks. Picked it up, husband changed the sensor himself within all of 5 minutes and the engine light came off. Neighbor , who is a mechanic had walked over to check out what the hubs was doing - noticed a hissing sound coming from the exhaust once he started it up - felt in that general area and could feel air coming from where it shouldn’t and advised that is most likely the issue and also what is causing the sensor to consistently go bad. Brought in to a muffler shop, diagnosed the issue in less than 5 min and let us know that both right and left side exhaust manifolds are severely cracked and damaged ! Just wanting the dang thing fixed already we authorize the repairs because remember after being at an authorized dealer for two weeks we were told there were no issues falling under our powertrain warranty just the bad sensir and could use new plugs and wires. After a quick google search and a plethora of knowledge on Jeep forums we Inbdeed discover that the exhaust manifolds are covered under powertrain warranty. Now this is where my zero star really comes in. David Frost , the service adviser aka the riudest most condescending human being I have ever encountered ! I feel bad for anyone that ever had to deal with him and for all the Chrysler customers he has caused this company during his career. I am a 28 year semority employee so I have loyalty but my encounter with him would be enough to be done with this brand ! I was obviously upset to find out that the issue we had was something that should have easily been discoverable by an experienced mechanic let alone that there are certain things Jeeps are known for going bad which also should have been a check for the dealership. I called to question why it wasn’t and honestly thought I would get a sincere apology that this happened. Instead , All I got was a smug , rude response while people laughed in the background He just kept repeating the xxxxxxxx codes and said that because we weren’t chatlrged for them wasting our time for two weeks that somehow meant it was OK. Mind you , they tried charging us and my husband had to argue with them until they waived the xx charges. I was told it was my fault that they did not discover the two severky damaged manifolds because I didn’t say the exhaust was loud when dropping it off. . Mind you , it wasn’t. but I thought I was bringing it in to a repair shop to be diagnosed ?? I wasn’t t aware I had to come in with the diagnosis for them to be able to repair it ! So I asked him why they didn’t notice it being louder if that was the only indicator which mind you he said it was lol . ? Don’t question his experience ladies and gentleman. Told me 100% that the cracked manifolds would not cause the lack of power / acceleration issues that I was having which it absolutely did. Another simple google search to see that is one of the issues that cracked manifolds cause. Took no accountability for missing this blatantly ibvious repair. Told me congrats for finding someone that was able to diagnose my problem. No concern or regard for wasting my time or money or putting my safety at risk and possibly damaging my engine by missing these cracked manifolds ffir god knows how long ! I could go on and on by how disgusting and appalling his behavior was but I think you get the just. More
Took my 2010 jeep liberty for repairs to Dick Huvaere Chrysler, jeep, dodge dealership in Richmond, Michigan. One of the issues was that the shifter lever on the transmission seized up. Prior to this Chrysler, jeep, dodge dealership in Richmond, Michigan. One of the issues was that the shifter lever on the transmission seized up. Prior to this the transmission shifted normal. They replaced the transmission valve body. Now the transmission doesn't want to shift on it's own. The rpm gauge goes to 3000 plus rpms and to get the transmission to shift into the next gear you have to take your foot off of the accelerator for about 10 to 15 seconds. The transmission then shifts into the next gear and you can then push down on the accelerator pedal again and continue driving. Every time you come to a stop you have to repeat the process. I was told by the service advisor Aldo Therqaj that the tech said that this is normal and the tech has a jeep liberty and his does the exact thing & the transmission is all electronic and there's no way to adjust the shift points. They had it for 4 months. I picked it up and brought it back again. This time they had it for 2 weeks. Said the tech plugged in a program to re learn the transmission & everything is good now. I picked it up again and still isn't shifting right. Took it back a 3rd time and spoke to the service manager David Frost. He assured me that he would take care of it. They had it for a week this time and nothing has changed. Still doesn't shift right. Service manager said that there's no codes set or stored therefore every thing with the transmission is normal. I don't remember the exact words he used but it was something along the lines that what do you care . You have the lifetime warranty on the jeep so if the transmission fails then just bring it back. They also took the dash apart to replace the heater core. Since then while driving on dirt roads you can hear plastic rattling coming from under the dash. They tried blaming the problem on the jeep being old and the passenger front fender being damaged. Even though the noise didn't start until they took the dash apart. I'm not trying to get something for nothing but they got paid to repair the jeep & they didn't repair it correctly and refuse to fix it correctly. I like Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep products but I'll never buy another one if this is the way they treat their customers. Just a heads up.....make up your own mind but just remember I told you so. More
