Dick Huvaere's really gets their customers If you're like me, you dread dealing with salespeople. I was hooked up with Robert Heppler though the dealer's website, and wow, was I impressed. He almost immediately responded to my many emails and made sure my questions were answered with the level of detail I was seeking (not just some vague response or the "stop by and we can chat" I received from others). Honestly, there was nothing special about the prices they were offering compared to the other dealerships, but Robert let me fully research my vehicle options at my own pace, with no pressure, and gave me straight and prompt answers when I needed them. This absolutely set him apart. When I actually went to the dealership ready to purchase, both he and I knew exactly what my options were, what incentives would apply, rough pricing, and what they had on lot that would meet my needs. It was simple. Customer service matters (to me), and I was appreciative of the level of service that Robert provided. It mattered so much that I drove 20 miles to their dealership to purchase the same car I could have got for the same price at the dealership less than a mile away. More
Rude salesman We made an appointment to purchase and trade in vehicle. When we arrived he was very aloof. Took our keys and disappeared. When he came back he said let’s look at the vehicle. It was a new vehicle but it has been sitting, a 2017. The salesperson then took us out in the lot to look at the vehicle. It was freezing cold, he couldn’t find the vehicle. When we located it at the back of the lot blocked in, it didn’t start, the battery was dead. Knowing we made this appointment with him, he should have the vehicle easily accessed and running. Paperwork was after and his comments included “you’re out of your mind.” This is our second time going there. The first time we purchased the vehicle, they delivered it because they couldn’t have it ready in time. When they delivered it, it was the wrong vehicle. My advice is find another dealership that pretends to care. More
Disappointed Customer I've been leasing vehicles from Huvares for years BUT my last lease I received a letter in Jan 18 from Tom Tessemer to buy out my lease ( 3 months rem I've been leasing vehicles from Huvares for years BUT my last lease I received a letter in Jan 18 from Tom Tessemer to buy out my lease ( 3 months remaining) everything went fine until I started receiving letters from US Bank. It took 8 months to get the vehicle processed with all parties, I purchased the extra insurance the dealer offered and recommended with the lease in order for the turn in to be pain free. Now 10 months later I'm still being billed for a remaining balance ( 1 month lease payment). The dealer assured me 2 months ago everything would be taken care of per the agreement as of today not the case at all. More

Then they’ll have your vehicle for 2-3 days with no calls to update you. When you finally call you have to leave a message, 4 hours later another message, and another 4 hours later insist on staying on the phone until someone talks to you and then they have no answers because the technician hasn’t even looked at it yet! Mind you I waited 16 days driving other vehicles and staying close to home with mine because they couldn’t get me in and when they “could” they can’t even look at my van within the 3 business days they’ve had it? I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership again! More

My son convinced me to look at a Jeep, so I shopped around a few of the Jeep dealers and ended up at Dick Huvaere's. My salesman, Marc Desero, was exceptional and he went above and beyond to help me get the best deal on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Altitude. Marc made my first experience with Jeep a memorable one. I heartily recommend this dealer and this salesman. More

In order to get assistance with our issues, it took a call to the owners cell phone and 5 calls to Chrysler; and this only resulted in getting people’s attention - not a resolution. More

Service Department needs customer service training I wouldn’t get a courtesy car from these guys if you have to have warranty work done. Worse that enterprise rent a car! Truck was in for repair for 5 I wouldn’t get a courtesy car from these guys if you have to have warranty work done. Worse that enterprise rent a car! Truck was in for repair for 5 days, with crap roads in Michigan the courtesy car is bound to get a stone chip. Person behind counter wanted to get quote for repair when returning to charge me. Think about this, would’ve never needed a courtesy car if I didn’t have an electrical charging failure on new truck with 10k miles on it. Follow-ups using provided tools goes unchecked and unanswered. Calls to service rep, no call back. Fill out customer satisfaction card requesting call back, no call back. Only follow-up was on faceboock. Also, service manager will mock you in front of colleagues while your not looking. To bad my wife witness it. Caught in the act. If you want to feel disrespected, go to this dealer. More
Bad experience bad bad bad experience. Taken advantage of. At the time of the lease I was finishing nursing school and we had our first child. We leased under my bad bad bad experience. They knew we did this upon obtaining the lease. we had our payment automated monthly through chrysler capital, maintained the vehicle, and we made sure everything was in order. So when time got close to turn in our lease we called to find out what date we had to turn it in. We were given a date and we cleaned up the car and turned it in. come to find out we coulda drove the car for another 3 weeks. we left multiple messages. When my wife finally got ahold of management after multiple messages she was told "I don't understand what we did wrong" and that "no one shoukda told you that date" when explaining g that's why she was calling he still backed they did nothing wrong and walshe was then instructed he would not help us because our name wasn't on the lease. When my mother in law called he behaved the same way and disregarded our complaint. Sometimes a little kindness or just a little understanding is how you deal with frustrated clients. It was a bad experience all around, from turning our lead in to the poor customer service and handling our complaint. More

I called to double check what day my lease was to be turned in and the woman said she could look it up and told me 3 weeks earlier than my lease was truly terminated. Even when asked they insisted that my lease was up then. They took advantage of me and my young family for more money and a faster vehicle turn around. I have called and called and called the managers with no response. Chrysler Capital was a nightmare to deal with as well. DICK HUVAERE'S ARE ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE, LIE, AND DO NOT HOLD THEMSELVES ACCOUNTABLE. Sometimes even a sorry would be sufficient, but not even a phone call back from management is unacceptable. So much for supporting local business. SHAME ON THEM More
