After receiving services on my VW R32 ! Back in March, I received services for my VW R32 from this dealership and received the vehicle back, everything seemed to be ok. Originally the vehicle went into the dealership for a leak in the moon roof; the dealership fixed it, did an upholstery cleaning, and then said it should have an oil change and a servicing, which they ended up replacing the serpentine belt. Shortly after, my vehicle had issues with the serpentine belt and pulleys. The serpentine belt was something that was supposed to be one of the thing the dealership replaced. The vehicle was only driven 62 miles before it had problems. I was no longer in Portland, OR, so my father took my car into the dealership for me. They were originally going to charge me for the additional services to replace what was supposed to already be replaced. However, after speaking with Mike Laiti, who is one of service writers. I explained everything to him and he explained how it could have happen, I felt very comfortable, and the whole time we seemed to be on the same page. He was able to speak with upper management for me, where they decided to fix everything for no cost to me, for customer satisfaction. I would have not gone back to that dealership if it wasn't for Mike Laiti, working extremely hard to fix the issues and getting the dealership that it was no fault to me or anyone other than whomever perform the work on the vehicle. I will continue to go to the dealership only because of him and the fact that they didn't charge me for something that, shouldn't have happen! He deserves a raise or a promotion...!!! More

Doug helped me by explaining the difference between the models thoroughly and clearly, and was very patient with my decision process. I didn't feel pressured or rushed, he just wanted to make sure I was happy with the car and had the information I needed to make the right choice. I was able to make the financing fit exactly what I had budgeted prior to going in. All in all an easy deal. More

Great service I have been taking my vehicles here for years. Before it was Hyundai it was Mitzubishi. They have always done great work, have been very honest and I have been taking my vehicles here for years. Before it was Hyundai it was Mitzubishi. They have always done great work, have been very honest and usually have a coupon on their website for nearly all kinds of service, making them competitive with other shops. Most of all they are very knowledgeable, stand by their work. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have quality work done on their Hyundai or VW. More
first time buyer turned lifetime customer This was my first time purchasing a car that wasn't from a private party. I was nervous, and not looking forward to it. We had stopped at a couple other dealerships and not only was I not finding what I was looking for the people seemed not to be listening to anything I was saying, it was quickly going from not looking forward to it to down right Frustrating. Then we pulled into Dick Hannah and were quickly greeted by friendly gentleman, Orenton B Hill Jr. Not only was he listening to what I was saying, he was actively helping me work through what exactly I was doing! He spent a few hours with us, and I never felt rushed, pushed around, or like we were wasting his time, eventually I realized I was not only laughing, but having a good time! We got to work with a team of people, including Doug Clark with paperwork and more questions, and then on to Chris Ward to walk us through all the warrantee options and went above and beyond to get us all the coupons and discounts he could. Everyone worked together to help me. This was an overall wonderful experience, I left happy and am still thrilled about my new to me car, when the day comes that I need to do this again, I will look forward to it because of these kind gentlemen, and I will return to Dick Hannah VW of Portland. More

First time using service center I have been using Ron Tonkin service since I bought my vehicle, but recently became concerned with costs, stated repair needs, and lack of cleanliness I have been using Ron Tonkin service since I bought my vehicle, but recently became concerned with costs, stated repair needs, and lack of cleanliness. I received a discount mailer for service at Dick Hannah and decided to try it out, this represents my experience. I arrived for an oil change, using the express service. Check-in took 20 minutes, they were very busy closing out tickets, taking calls and helping customers who arrived before me. But, atleast five times I received an apology for the delay and was told they would be with me shortly. They recognized the delay, owned up to it, and kept me a priority. Once checked in, the employee introduced me to the facility and showed me to a large, comfortable waiting room with two televisions, and complimentary water. He checked back in after 45 minutes and gave me an update on the service. He asked if I wanted to complete minor repairs or if the shop should. I decided to complete the repairs and he sent the car to be washed and vacuumed. At check out the employee was personable and asked me about baseball, having noticed I was watching a game in the waiting room. He went over the service, and took a coupon that had expired the day before. My car was cleaner than it arrived and the service was thorough. Repairs Ron Tonkin claimed needed to be completed were not recommended by Dick Hannah, they were honest about the condition of the vehicle. For this, Dick Hannah has earned a customer through the life of this car and I will buy my next from them. More
