As it has been years since I have financed a car, I wasn't sure what to expect of a dealership or how long the process would take. Noe was welcoming, patient and pleasant to work with. He took the time to understand my wants and needs and worked hard to make sure I felt completely comfortable driving away in my new car. I highly recommend working with Noe at Dick Hannah VW. More
Worst sales experience ever And I'm still getting junk mail from them although I've requested to be removed from their database. It was the worst sales experience ever. Luckily And I'm still getting junk mail from them although I've requested to be removed from their database. It was the worst sales experience ever. Luckily for my next purchase I found Armstrong VW and their business ethics was stellar and unlike so many other stores. Give them a try and run fast away from these place. The frustration just isn't worth it. Heck and I used to work at a VW dealership on the east coast. More

Sat outside a staff sales meeting, and listened to the faul mouth sales Manager demean and belittle the salesmen and clientele. If the public knew how a Dealership viewed them, they should avoid any business dealings, with Dick Hannah VW. Without money in profett, their word means nothing, thank you. More

Terrrible sales experience I had recently purchased a VW GTI Autobahn car from Dick Hannah VW Portland. My experience started off positively but soon changed. I was trading in I had recently purchased a VW GTI Autobahn car from Dick Hannah VW Portland. My experience started off positively but soon changed. I was trading in my previous Volvo and transferring my Military plates to my new car. This is when the circus began. They were unable to find the right wrench (mind you a simple Leatherman would have done the job) so I waited over a half hour for them to take the plates off. I made it through finance where they were to refund me 3K for my trade in. All seemed well but that was soon to change. As time progressed I made numerous phone calls about sending the title for my old Volvo. They gave me mixed messages on three separate calls. They first told me to hand deliver it. I said no, as I was not interest in driving 45 mins each way to bring it to them. They then told me to send it Fed Ex registered mail. This was then changed back to them getting it personally. So they offered to come get it somewhere in between. This was a circus as trying to get this hand-off scheduled was liking herding cats. Finally after at least two more phone calls I spoke to someone in finance who said simply mail it to their main PO box. Easy peasy and it only took 10 phone calls and 3 hours of my time to get that sorted. The worst seemed behind me and I could enjoy my fresh new ride. Then hauntingly in the mail I received two new license plates and tags. I was perplexed as I was very clear I wanted my military plates transferred. In fact I had a long discussion at the dealership where they thanked me for my service. I immediately called back. I started to get the run around. They told me they had no idea why and they would look into it right away. Right away of course meant at least two more phone calls to different people. Finally I managed to speak with the finance guy who helped me originally (named James Freelove). James proceeded to tell me that I did not ask to have my plate transferred because it is did not say so on the final paperwork I signed. I told him why on earth would I ask you to take off the plates if not for a transfer (to hang them on my wall). Mind you my girlfriend was present during the whole purchase. She witnessed me clearly state my transfer intentions. After calling me a LIAR I was told I could take the new plates into the DMV myself and transfer my old ones to my car. I said no way as it was not my fault they screwed up and I had no desire to spend two hours at the DMV on a Saturday. I told him clearly they were going to take care of the transfer and refund me the almost $300 for the license plates and tags I did not request. This through more calls was finally set in motion. An employee was going to come to me to get my signature for the transfer paperwork and take back the old plates. I scheduled an appointment with the employee to show up at my house that day. The night before I even sent him picture of the new and old plates so the paperwork could be ready. The problem was he did not show on the time we scheduled so I sat hostage at home the hold day into the afternoon. I ended up calling the dealership to find out what gives. They were giving me the run around. They had not even sent the guy. Instead he was working on the sales floor. Finally when he arrived a few hours later I singed one little line and off he went. All of that xx for a signature. Moving forward I ended up calling VW customer care because I had it with all the calls and constant lack of service. They investigated and spoke to the dealership. Magically all of a sudden in one phone call I was getting my 3k plus sent to me in a check and supposedly my transfer was done (we shall see on that). I had to wait over a month for this to take place. I tell this story not to tell anyone where to go buy a VW but rather to give you information. If you want to take a chance feel free to buy a car for Dick Hannah. I will never go back to them, in fact I am taking my VW somewhere else for service because they have not earned my business More

I ret I just leased a VW Jetta yesterday, and had a very supportive experience. Melanie, Chad, Esteban and James all extended themselves on my behalf. I returned a previously leased Jetta TDI, and they assisted me in the transition, and offered my loyalty incentives that I very much appreciated. This is my fourth Jetta in 20 years. I've purchased 2 and now will have leased 12 ... and this was easily the best experience I've had at any VW dealership, from San Juan Capistrano, to San Francisco to Gladstone. I would definitely recommend Dick Hannah's in Portland. I look forward to a free monthly car wash for the next three years, and hope to continue to see the staff I named that I found to be so helpful! More
Very Thankful and Blessed. My husband and I went looking to trade in a 2014 Chevy Impala for a 2016 Chevy Impala (used)!! Well instead we had a chance at 2017 Volkswagen Passat. My husband and I went looking to trade in a 2014 Chevy Impala for a 2016 Chevy Impala (used)!! Well instead we had a chance at 2017 Volkswagen Passat. We knew that we wouldn't qualify because of some past credit issues which we are taking care of now. Well Noe made OUR dreams come true because we left with a 2017 Volkswagen Passat!!!! We are very hard working people and I'm glad Noe did everything he could to get us in this vehicle. The sales experience was GREAT!!! As the daughter of previous salesman of 29 years at Beaverton Toyota,I felt very comfortable signing the contracts without my father being present... We just LOVE the car and it makes us feel like we have so much more to work for... We will be returning to again to purchase another vehicle after this one is paid off!!! Thanks again Noe and the team at Dick Hannah for giving us a chance at something NEW!!! We BELIEVE IN NICE. Taurean and Sheronda Porter More
