I wanted what I wanted and I didn't want any back and forth. The salesman who greeted me probably had no problem turning me over to his manager as I had immediately let him know I didn't have an interest in dealing with a salesperson. Looking back, I feel a little bad about that- he seemed like a nice guy but I was in a rush. I met Nino, the floor manager who took me on a test drive in the certified used Murano. He knew from the get go that I had no interest in negotiating so he gave me his best number the first go round. It was within a couple of hundred dollars of what I wanted so I agreed and 45 minutes later, I drove home in my new car. Great place to buy a car if you don't want to be hassled or play games. More
Very honest. Great morals. Not pushy. Very patient. We test drove 2 diferent cars and since we had our child with us, Mo had to take us on test drives seperately! It took us a lot of time to decide. Mo ne test drove 2 diferent cars and since we had our child with us, Mo had to take us on test drives seperately! It took us a lot of time to decide. Mo never exhibited any anxiety in our inablility to make a decision. Always kept a smile on his face. Mo was a far different and far superior person to deal than any other sales person we had dealt with before. I believe his personality and skills would be of even greater value in a position with responsibility. More
I bought my new (to me, 2010) Maxima here and couldn't be happier. The transaction was easy, the price was good and the service was second to none. Melissa was my sales rep, what a nice woman! Truly the easi happier. The transaction was easy, the price was good and the service was second to none. Melissa was my sales rep, what a nice woman! Truly the easiest car purchase I've ever made. I am surprised about some of the older reviews on this site, as other people buying cars while I was there, all seemed to be experiencing the same friendly/easy car buying experience I had. The staff are top notch, honest people. Ill be back to Gladstone for my service and highly reccomend this dealer! More
I have found Gladstone Nissan to be very approachable and customer friendly with no abrasive behavior. I am reasonably knowledgeable when it comes to what I want, and I don't respond well to pressure or staf customer friendly with no abrasive behavior. I am reasonably knowledgeable when it comes to what I want, and I don't respond well to pressure or staff who don't know their products. My wife and I have bought four Nissans from them. In fact, my wife was impressed enough when I got my 2008 Nissan Armada that she would go only to Gladstone Nissan to replace her Pathfinder. MO was very helpful in getting me into my 2011 Armada even though I was upside down in my pretty new 2010 Lexus GX460, which didn't have enough Armada character for me. I have also found the service and parts departments to be very good with customers. I have received good quality care for my vehicle and service and parts personnel try to make sure the work is right the first time. MO worked through enough of the deal over the phone to allow me to make the decision to drive the 89 miles to Gladstone. That helped a bunch because I know what ballpark I was in before I even saw the Armada. My experience is that only the more forward-thinking dealerships will do some up-front work over the phone. Alan was friendly and gracious. He gave us room to discuss whenever we asked and answered all of our questions. He even helped direct us to a car we hadn't considered when the car I wanted wasn't a go discuss whenever we asked and answered all of our questions. He even helped direct us to a car we hadn't considered when the car I wanted wasn't a good fit for our needs. Great car shopping experience. The finance manager who helped us was wonderful as well (I don't remember his name unfortunately). They both really went the extra mile. I felt like they were looking to do more than make a quick buck. They wanted me to be thrilled with my purchase... and I am. More
I loved gladstone nissan staff, everyone was great, they did everything possible to give me what I wanted, allen oursalesman was gret, he knew everything about everycar we drove, he was a cool guy. He sold did everything possible to give me what I wanted, allen oursalesman was gret, he knew everything about everycar we drove, he was a cool guy. He sold me when he knew the safety features on all of the cars too. It nice to have a salesman help you find a safe good car not just trying to make the deal. We will definately go back when we are ready to buy another car. But it would be nice if they had a children area my daughter was really bored. More
Gladstone Nissan has a customer for life from me! From the minute I walked in the door they made my sister and I feel like we were a part of the family. They worked extremely hard to accomodate my financ the minute I walked in the door they made my sister and I feel like we were a part of the family. They worked extremely hard to accomodate my financial limitations and needs and even fed us lunch! We spent hours there as if visiting friends. They made sure I was comfortable with the purchase and even arranged auto insurance. I will continue to go to Gladstone Nissan for services as well as car purchases in the future. Thanks again for making that experience a fantastic one! More
I was interested in the previous rating. Interestingly, our experience was a close replica of what was previously mentioned. We also received -- in writing -- quite a fabulous quote for a blue hatchback w our experience was a close replica of what was previously mentioned. We also received -- in writing -- quite a fabulous quote for a blue hatchback with bluetooth we had been looking at at Tonkin Wilsonville Toyota. When we arrived, we were greeted with a beige sedan with no bluetooth. It was explained to us that the salesman was new and had made a mistake (he had worked there, theoretically, for six months, hardly a short time for this kind of "mistake"). Bottom line -- what we wanted was "on tomorrow's truck" but would cost $2,000 more than the quote we received in writing. Even the beige sedan was substantially higher than the quote. Do what we and the previous rater did -- buy from Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan -- honest, fair, a truely great buying experience and less than the final quote Gladstone offered -- ask for Jay, he's wonderful! My husband had sent out a bunch of inquiries to Nissan dealerships in the area about a particular car I wanted, and Gladstone (Thereisa)came back to us with a deal we couldn't refuse that included 0% fina dealerships in the area about a particular car I wanted, and Gladstone (Thereisa)came back to us with a deal we couldn't refuse that included 0% financing (for those who qualify, which we would) and certain factory incentives. They had the car, so we called around 4:30p that day to make sure everything was still good before we headed out to purchase the car. When we got there, the sales manager and finance woman told us that the car had sold earlier that afternoon and that the internet salesperson didn't have our number to get a hold of us, but she tried to contact us earlier this afternoon - didn't we see the email? Remember, we talked to internet salesperson at 4:30p on the phone and she said it was still at the dealership. Amazingly her email came to us at 5:30 and not 1:30 as they had said. It was still okay, though, because they were willing to call other dealerships and still honor the deal. When we got to the paperwork, the final offer price had gone up $750 compared to what we were quoted in writing and that we would have to "buy down" to get the 0% financing which would be an extra $4000! The internet sales person mentioned nothing of having to buy down. Both my husband and I have received 0% financing before, and with these deals they don't tell you that you will have to buy down. The finance lady, instead of agreeing that the internet salesperson had misrepresented all of this, told us that this is the way it always is with all Honda and Nissan dealerships. The way they handled this, I'm sorry, is bait and switch. Get someone to come in for a promised deal in writing, then up the amount for various reasons and act like we're idiots for not understanding. We're actually more upset that the finance woman refused to even acknowledge the final offer price we were quoted by the internet salesperson. It's not about the $750, it's about being deceived. PS - We wrote a nice, but firm e-mail to Thereisa to express our dismay and inquire what happened. A week later, we've never received a reply from anyone at Gladstone. We ended up buying from Wilsonville Nissan. Talk about night and day!! Unless you want the typical car sales experience that will leave you feeling cheated and unhappy, skip these guys and go to Wilsonville. They are rated very high everywhere on customer satisfaction. Oddly enough, Gladstone Nissan is not. We should have done our homework on this dealership. More
