Absolutely the WORSE dealership I've ever dealt with and I'll be taking my issues with them as high up as I can, because it's completely unacceptable. I went to buy a 2023 Kia Soul from them, filled out as much a I could only to minimize the amount of time it would take to complete, and also my old car was stolen and wrecked, so I'd have to Uber to the dealership and only wanted to do it once. Well, when I arrived (via a $50 uber cause I live in Portland), I found out that they HAD NOT full run the application as I had wanted. So then I was told that the car I wanted would need an additional deposit, which I wasn't prepared for at the time. I'm started to get upset at this point, as this was kind of situation I wanted to avoid this by pre-qualifying and sending them my info before I even walked in the door. Curt, the salesman I worked with, and the invisible-always-in-the-back sales manager, offered a certified pre-owned 2022 Kia Forte they could do. I really didn't want to, but at that point I was trapped in Vancouver and was staring down the barrel of having to do incredibly expensive rideshares to make it to work currently. So I agreed, and I left 4 hours later with a Kia Forte. And that's where the REAL trouble started. A few days later I get a call telling me they need another paystub cause the previous one wouldn't be accepted by the lender. The same paystub I had sent them a week and a half earlier when I started my car buying adventure. I told them it would be just short of a week till I had a new one. Yet, that message didn't seem to be shared, because I then got a call the next day from a sales manager that very rudely, insisted that they knew when I got paid, and I should have another paystub already. I then had to literally correct the guy on the phone about my own pay schedule, which is silly in itself. This back and forth goes on all the way until my next paystub is available. I send it to them, thinking it's all good. NOPE. I get a call a few days later telling me the lender rejected the paystub because "I'm part time". Now, as you all know, it's 2023, and corporations will make anyone not salaried, part time. Everyone that works a regular job knows this issue. I work full time hours, and my paystub clearly showed that. But to the "lender", as they kept insisting, this wasn't good enough, and I'd now need to return the car to them immediately. Mind you, it's now been almost two weeks since I drove off the lot with my Forte. I asked them if there was anyway to fix this situation like a letter from my employer, but nope, that wouldn't be good enough. They wanted to the car back now. The deal fell through, and the friendliness of Dick Hannah Kia was over. I wanted to set it up on my day off since I'd have to drive up to Vancouver and uber back, something you can't really do on the day you work. But did Dick Hannah Kia care? Nope! Instead they called me repeatedly, within an hour of each other, while I was at work (I told them clearly my work hours, they ignored it) and would be mad that I didn't pick up. Then, they threatened to report the car stolen! Mind you, I never told them "No I'm not bringing the car back", all I said was "Ok, but can we do this on X day because I'm off work." Which I think is very responsible, but apparently, they didn't. I told them, on my lunch break, that if they needed the car back ASAP and couldn't wait for my next day off then they could come get it that evening after I got off work. But Dick Hannah Kia, full of empathy, started calling and texting me again, this time in all caps. This time is that they had already sent a crew to my house to get the car and wanted to know where I was... I was at work...the place I had been that whole day. But it was like they didn't believe that I worked or something. They never asked a question, they just continued to try to pressure me to do things as they wanted. I ended up having to leave work early to deal with it. More

Wonderful car buying experience, probably the best I’ve ever had! Everyone I encountered was extremely helpful, even the folks who weren’t helping me directly.
