Me, my husband and mother-in-law, walked in to "just" get info on what's out there, as our cars were having issues. Short story...we left, each of us, with a new Kia Soul. Crazy! Mark and Jon wer "just" get info on what's out there, as our cars were having issues. Short story...we left, each of us, with a new Kia Soul. Crazy! Mark and Jon were awesome through this somewhat overwhelming decision making. Even when we requested a late change in how we wanted something done, they worked hard to make it happen. (Reinforcing their "Believe in Nice" motto!) Thanks so much. More
We came in looking for a used car, but left in a new Kia Optima thanks to Curt's great effort. We drove several used cars but decided to see if we would be approved to lease a new car and we were! Very happy on the upgrade we were able to make thanks to Curt. More
Bob Snyder was the sales person that helped us and he was a lot of help. He was able to answer all of my questions and was patient with us. That part of the service was great. The "closing" part of the deal a lot of help. He was able to answer all of my questions and was patient with us. That part of the service was great. The "closing" part of the deal with the "closer" guy was just okay, seemed like he was in a bad mood. The 2010 Kia we ended up buying had a couple issues but the Dick Hannah Service center quickly fixed them for us with no money out of our pocket. Overall, It was a great experiance and I plan on purchasing another Kia very soon from Dick Hannah Kia. More
I called, was told to come on in. I arrived, and there was a red carpet waiting for me. These boys know how to make a girl feel like they are looking out for you! Patience pays off. I went in January to test drive 3 or 4 different smaller SUV vehicles. Knowing my heart and mind weren't agreeing, I had to wait till I could wrap my mind around the logical choice for 4 different smaller SUV vehicles. Knowing my heart and mind weren't agreeing, I had to wait till I could wrap my mind around the logical choice for me. Once those were in alignment, I knew what to do. 8 months later called and made an appointment and purchased the Honda. More

First, I'm not a car guy. I don't want to go into a dealer and get beat up by someone trying to sell me something I don't want. I told Steve I wanted a Kia Soul and that is what we looked at. He show a dealer and get beat up by someone trying to sell me something I don't want. I told Steve I wanted a Kia Soul and that is what we looked at. He showed me the top of the line but didn't try to sell it to me. I liked that. He went through all the features, I evaluated what was important to me and we went from there. I found what I wanted and he made it happen. No pressure, No 3 hours sitting there and getting beat up and haggling over the price. I loved it. The easiest car purchase I ever went through. Steve was a great guy. Very personable and knew his stuff. Only complaint is a wish I would have gotten a bit more on my trade-in :) Who doesn't. I don't know if it matters but a gal I work with Rebecca (Damico) Slaughter recommended that I go to Dick Hannah KIa. She had a great expereince there and I trust her. Finally, it was nice to get a $400 credit for being in the Air Force...nice touch especially coming from a foreign car maker. I am happy Mark Doherty More
We have faithfully brought our vehicle, which we bought new at Dick Hannah Kia, in for scheduled maintenance every 7,500 miles. We have never been wonderfully happy with the customer service overall, but new at Dick Hannah Kia, in for scheduled maintenance every 7,500 miles. We have never been wonderfully happy with the customer service overall, but it has been acceptable. During our last scheduled maintenance appointment we were told that the battery suddenly went dead while our vehicle was at the dealership. We had not had any problems with the vehicle or the battery, but we do understand this could happen. The dealership offered to change out the battery, but my husband indicated that he would prefer to do it instead of paying them to do it, as this is not a warranty item. The service manager seemed very put off by the fact that we did not want to pay to have the battery replaced. The dealership jumped the vehicle and it made a very strange sound when jumped but then ran fine. We drove it home and replaced the battery the next morning. When we started the van after replacing the battery the van made the strange noise again and then would not start at all. The starter was out. We immediately called the dealership and were that in addition to batteries that can just die at a moment's notice, so can starters. When we did not accept the unlikely coincidence that the battery and starter when out within 24 hours of each other just "because" the dealership indicated that because we did not have them change the battery, they could not accept any responsibility for the starter, because we might have broken it. My husband has changed many batteries in his day and knows that he did not have to do anything to the starter to change the battery. Now, while we believe that our issues started while our vehicle was at the dealership, we suppose it is true that the battery and starter could have gone out within hours of each other and it could have been in no way the fault of the dealership. Whether they made a mistake or not, the way they immediately blamed us and did not even investigate what could have happened was appalling. We had the van towed back to the dealership where they confirmed the starter was out. We were supposed to leave on a 3 week road trip the next day. They informed us that they would be unable to locate a Kia starter anywhere in the Portland Metro area for a number of days. As a "loyal Dick Hannah customer" we indicated that was unacceptable, especially since there was a very likely chance that they in fact caused the problem in the first place. It took a total of 8 telephone calls between my husband and I with threats to camp out on the showroom floor for someone to call us back with a solution. This is completely unacceptable. If someone in the service department made a mistake and broke something, that is OK, mistakes happen, just fix it. If it was truly an amazingly unfortunate coincidence, then do not just blame your "loyal customer" and say, "too bad". I expect a dealership with the types of resources Dick Hannah has to make it right. Eventually after having to be very unpleasant on the phone with a number of people, the dealership did decide to put an after-market starter in our van to get us on the road. They also agreed to reimburse us for our nonrefundable hotel reservations that we missed due to starting our vacation late (after we insisted). They promised the check would be waiting for us when we got back to town 3 weeks later and that they would then put in a Kia starter. When we arrived back home, the reimbursement check was not here. We waited a week and then called. They had not done a thing about it. We did get the check after bugging them some more. When we brought the van back in to get the starter put in I was not given a receipt that listed the Kia starter part number. I called to get an invoice that would like the part number but was told they could not issue me a new invoice. I just hope they actually put a Kia starter in the van. It is the first thing I will have the new dealership we work with check. We will never return to Dick Hannah and we will make sure to tell our friends to do the same. More
I brought 2009 Optima in for a service and was greeted (at the end of a hot day I might add) by the friendly and outgoing Tara in the Service Dept. She helped me get into a rental car for a day while my (at the end of a hot day I might add) by the friendly and outgoing Tara in the Service Dept. She helped me get into a rental car for a day while my car was being worked on and made the experience non-stressful. She was extremely helpful in explaining what the process would look like as well as explaining what was wrong with the car when I picked it up. Turns out everything was covered by my 100,000 mile warranty so no out of pocket expenses!!! I mentioned that I might (for kicks and giggles) like to look at some of the newer cars and was directed to Khalil Abozeeter. Khalil is not only friendly and easy to communicate with he is honest and direct. He didn't pressure or try to 'upsale' me and was truly looking out for my best financial as well as overall needs in a car. He helped me get into a 2014 Forte and I was able to qualify and stay within the monthly payments I could afford. I was able to trade in my 2009 Optima with no hassles at all!! Four years ago I purchased the Optima by this same dealer and got the same awesome wonderful experience. in fact, the salesman that sold me the Optima remembered me!!! As a single mom, I am always worried I will be taken advantage of but I fully trust these folks at Dick Hannah Kia. It is also worth noting that I have experience with other car manufactors at Vancouver Auto Mall (Volkwagon and Honda) and I will never set foot in those dealerships again!! I was treated very poorly on two very separate occasions at both places!! I am a forever customer at DICK HANNAH KIA VANCOUVER AUTO MALL!!!! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ More
I came in as a new car buyer. Having never been to a dealership and dealt with sales-people before. I had no knowledge on the financial aspect of the car buying process and Mark was very willing to expl dealership and dealt with sales-people before. I had no knowledge on the financial aspect of the car buying process and Mark was very willing to explain everything to me in laments terms. Kurt and Mark did whatever they could in order to get me into my new Kia Soul. They made my worries and stresses of being at a car dealership lessen, with how workable they were. More
