First of all I would have never gone to Dick Hannah if it hadnt been for one of my good friends husband worked there so we thought we would give it a try. NEVER AGAIN! I had gone in on a Sunday to talk to th hadnt been for one of my good friends husband worked there so we thought we would give it a try. NEVER AGAIN! I had gone in on a Sunday to talk to the guy that I know to see if he could run our credit information to make sure we werent wasting his time. Well he was busy and another guy helped out and gave us a form to fill out and I told him just to send it through and give me a call because I had two kids in the car who needed to get home. So later he called me and told me everything would be ok and that we could start finding something we wanted. We live in Kelso and had been looking at the vehicles that had been at the Kelso store for the past month. We saw a few things we liked but nothing we couldnt live without. We had recently had our second child and needed to get out of our little 2 door Honda. So we set up and appointment with our friend to go to Vancouver and find something. When we showed up at the store to go to Vancouver they had our guy heading out on a drive to Mossyrock and had turned us to someone else. Later we found out they didnt want us working with him because they thought they would lose us. (I guess it is better to not lose someone that day and make a sale then it is to lose a life long customer who may have come back for the next 60 years. I am only 26. Which way would make more money? You do the math.) We were willing to give another guy a chance so we went with him. Luckily we did find something in Vancouver and brought it back to the Kelso store. To cut this short we ended up paying way too much for our vehicle and having about $100 more a month on the payment then we had planned. All they wanted to do with me was argue that the amounts were only a $1 a day. Everything I said they had something to say back rude. It was taking them forever to get our paperwork together so we said that we wanted to run to the store and get dinner and pick up a birthday present. They did not want us to leave because they thought we would leave and never come back. We should have but we didnt. So in the time we were getting the things from the store we wanted they were suppose to be preparing our paperwork. When we got back our paperwork was not ready. So then we still had to wait. When we were in with the finance manager and he was trying to convince us of getting a warranty I had to just tell him I wanted nothing because the payment was high enough that I had been there for five and a half hours and was ready to go home. I had said something to him and then he looked at my fiance and said like we know (like as men know and not women) that things break and fall apart. I am a woman and I know just like they do. Can you say sexist. I feel they lied saying we were getting such a wonderful price and we didnt. The next day we saw 5 of the same vehicle 06 Durangos in another add that were 4 wheel drive and ours was 2 wheel drive for about $2000 less then we paid. They will make plenty of money on my trade-in 00 Honda Civic with 69K miles on it. I am happy with the guy we had planned on talking with and happy with the guy who took the time to drive us down to Vancouver to find something but for all the other people like Chris the Manager and the Finance Manager they are the ones I am not happy with. Chris tried to tell us that we were going to have a hard time getting a loan and he was going to squeeze this through with all the other good applications and it was our lucky day. He lies. At 8pm at night I dont think the banks are open. He was doing nothing but putting on a show. I will never recommend anyone to go there. We should have stuck with our first impression that we had about them. Dick Hannah (Dick you over Hannah)! More
The Dick Hannah way is a machine. From the time you enter the lot, to the time you forcibly pull yourself away, from up to 5 people, everything is done to spec. That's not a good thing for you. If you kno the lot, to the time you forcibly pull yourself away, from up to 5 people, everything is done to spec. That's not a good thing for you. If you know what you're doing, how to negotiate, and what you want, you'll be fine. Just stick to your guns and stress that the sooner the deal is closed, the happier you'll be. If you are just wandering and don't know what price you should pay, beware. They have the sales process down. They will grind you with multiple reps before 6 hours are done and you've overpaid. I happened to just purchase a car from them. Unfortunately, they had the perfect used car that was exactly what we wanted. No other dealer around had it. We got a fair deal because we made it clear we had other vehicles we were more than happy buying at a lower price. It's not that they aren't professional. It's that they're too professional. Professional car salespeople. Think about that one. More
This site is true, you should go prepared, especially when dealing with any dealership. I do accept the fact I wasn't fully prepared and paid for that, but it does not absolve the dealer from their bad a when dealing with any dealership.
