I recently purchased a new Kia Rio from Dick Hannah Kia; Steve Davis was my salesman throughout the process. I needed to replace the car my daughter had been driving, and asked a friend from church who I knew had just gotten a new Kia. I liked the idea of the Kia for fuel economy and the warranty. My friend highly recommended Steve, and now I know why! I had a limited budget to work with, and was still able to get a brand new car that met all my needs. My daughter is the primary driver of the new car, as her old one was ready to meet the scrap pile. Steve worked with both of us to find just the right car that fit both my pocketbook and my daughter’s needs (OK, wants) to have a ‘cute’ car. The whole process was the easiest one I have been through in more than 30 years worth of car-buying. No heavy-handed pressure, no trying to squeeze the last dollar out of me. Just a great little car, at a fair price. I really appreciated the honesty and lack of game-playing that is so rare to find. Thanks Dick Hannah Kia, and thanks Steve! More

So I spent a hypertension inducing week visiting nearly every major dealership in the Portland Metro looking for a replacement. Let me tell you, looking for a bargain when dealers have visions of Cash for Clunkers dancing in their heads is useless. In frustration, I decided to broaden my search a bit, and hit some dealers to take an actual look at other vehicles, and see what might fit our needs other than my long-coveted Sienna. I wound up at Dick Hannah Kia whereEmir Filipovic did a great job learning about my requirements, showing me what was available, and we quickly zeroed in on a Sedona. We didn't come to terms that day, partly because I'd broken my own cardinal rule about going in prepared, partly because my job is to know what a good deal is and accept nothing less, theirs is to make the best profit possible. Doesn't matter whether you're talking Wall Street or Main Street, that's how sales works. I came back two days later, having done my research, and made my terms clear. My new offer was considerably lower than my initial impulse-driven terms. This is where Dick Hannah shines. Most dealerships get very offended in situations like this (particularly when dealing with women) and will let a fair deal walk out the door, or worse, insult you and argue, rather than just push pride aside and do the deal. Both Emir and Sales Manager John Pelley took the high road, made sure the deal was right on their side, and made it happen. They swallowed pretty bitter pill with more grace, class, and professionalism than I have EVER witnessed on a dealer floor (my dad was a GSM, I grew up in the business, so that's saying something). That, ladies and gentlemen is what I like to call integrity. There is precious little of it in this business. Without it, you are on your own, caveat emptor is the rule. Dick Hannah Kia isn't going to hand you a cream-puff deal (nor should they, that's the buyers responsibility) but if you do your research, there is no better dealership in the Portland Metro. Once the deal was made, we were handed over to the capable hands of Jeff Salisbury, who made the endless piles of paperwork that buying a car requires a fast and entertaining process. The folks at Dick Hannah will treat you with respect. After the week I've had, I can tell you that's hard to find. It's clear that integrity is an important value from the top down at Dick Hannah, but they are human, just like the rest of us. If you happen to have an experience that you don't feel right about, ask to speak to the sales manager, tell them what's wrong, and ask for another salesperson. Sometimes it's an issue of fit, but the management at Dick Hannah is top rate. Something as simple as working with a different salesperson may be what it takes, and is certainly a better choice than going to another dealer. As I said above, in Portland/Vancouver, you won't find a better dealer than Dick Hannah. More

What can I say about the team at Dick Hannah Kia. Don Martin was such a help to both my husband and I. Don Martin was very knowledgable about the Spectra 5. No pressure to buy that was nice. One thing I don't like is going to a dealership where you feel pressure or they waste your time with whether or not they can do a deal. There was none of that with Don or the team at Dick Hannah. We wanted a KIA Amanti, we wanted the Pewter Beige he found it in Kirkland Washington and had it delivered to Vancouver WA. It was just what we wanted. I am very, very pleases and will highly recommend Don Martin, Steve, Kurt and the entire staff at Dick Hanna KIA, We received not only friendly courteous service, but we were treated with the utmost respect and definitely a caring attitude was present with the entire staff. Don introduced us to everyone including the maintenance shop. Don Martin is an outstanding asset to Dick Hanna KIA, and the staff there is outstanding. We did not only feel we were treated well as a customer, we were treated as if we were family members that received treatment of ROYALTY. My online salesman was "Steve Davis" His left hand person was Stephanie (person in the background telling him I emailed again and again) then the General Manager "Rachel Smith" besides doing the okays for the bargaining she also was the one that filled up my tank and washed it for me. Then there was the final paperwork man Curt who was efficient at what he did and had me out of there in record time. His trainer for the extras you buy after you buy a car was team sales manager "Dave Cady." The whole thing was a major stress less situation mostly and I am one stressed out person when it comes to spending money. They were more of a family of people working together than all the dealerships I have dealt with since my younger days of going to my dad's favorite car dealership and even a few of my own growing up.
