WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER DONT DO IT!!! I brought my Jeep in for a 10 am trailer hitch recall appointment. I arrived at 9:40 and at 11am I was walking away from the service de DONT DO IT!!! I brought my Jeep in for a 10 am trailer hitch recall appointment. I arrived at 9:40 and at 11am I was walking away from the service department with a bum knee due to "no shuttle available" so I can get back to work. I was told that the recall repair would only take 2-3 hours. I call at 2:30 to see if it is done. She says "Jim was hurt at work today so your car was handed off to someone else, I'm not sure who but I will have the tech call you right back". I replied " I understand that, maybe we should reschedule as I need the Jeep back tonight". She says "No it may be done already I'll have the tech call you right away". At 3:45 while running errands on my motorcycle I stop by as no one could be bothered to call. I am told "the tech will call you immediately" to which I reply "as I said in the phone call before I understand you are overwhelmed with repairs so if we need to reschedule the recall repair that is ok but I NEED the Jeep back tonight". She restates the vehicle my be done already and that she will have the tech call me immediately. I call at 5 minutes to closing and get the same" I'll have the tech call you" xxxxxxxx. I say "that's what you said 3 times now and no one can be bothered." " As I stated I need the Jeep back to night and if the trailer hitch recall can't be completed we can reschedule it". She got rude with me and said "Well then I guess I'll just have to chase him down as I can't find any service managers". After 15 more minutes on hold listening to their commercials my phone died. This morning I get a voicemail from a tech stating the recall on the hitch could not be done due to aftermarket exhaust being installed on the vehicle... The exhaust is a straight across stock replacement so this too is B.S. They held my car captive all night and did not do the recall... Waited another 20 minutes this morning for the paperwork to be completed after being told it was ready to pick up... They wanted me to sign a document that said I ELECTED not to have the recall completed. What a colossal waste of time. NOW MY DOOR PANEL ON THR DRIVERS SIDE HAS POPPED OFF! WHY WOULD THEY OPEN UP A DOOR PANEL FOR A HITCH REPLACEMENT????!!!! You will have a better experience at a IRS AUDIT than I did with this xxxxty company. More
