My Honda Accord Crosstour needed an A-1 servicing = oil change and tire rotation. I called on Friday and could have had an immediate appointment, but set it up for Tuesday morning, as I was out of town at change and tire rotation. Not only did I receive a phone message as a reminder, but the dealership sent an email as well. The servicing was started as soon as I arrived and was finished earlier than expected. The estimate and cost were roughly the same, which I appreciated. Throughout the entire experience, everyone I dealt with was courteous and friendly. The waiting area was comfortable with Wi-Fi and refreshments. All in all it was an efficient, pleasant experience. Thanks, Dick Hannah Honda! More
Mike made the experience amazingly easy. He exceeded our expectations, it's never a "great" experience to have to go in and finance a vehicle, but we honestly can say this was a great experience! He went above and beyond to get us into an affordable vehicle, and one that we're completely in love with. I would recommend working with Mike, and have recommended already. We had to bring our kids with us, and Mike even went out of his way to play with them, make them fresh popcorn... He was sincere, honest, and did not "waste" our time at all. I dropped my car off for a recall repair, and got new wiper blades as well. It was easy to schedule my appointment, and my tires were filled and the car was washed as well. When my car unexpectedly broke down Mike and Lisa, from the Honda services center went above and beyond to help me get my vehicle repaired. I was very excited to shop for a car here, but walked away empty handed after being slime-balled by the sales manager and finance guy. Dorral was my salesperson and he was polite and friendly, but as soon as my choice was made as to the car, the "invisible powers-that-be" behind the closed door got real ugly. They insisted that gap insurance, window etching and more fees were optional until I turned them down. Suddenly they became mandatory. $800 for Gap Insurance? $300 for window etching? I could buy the window etcher for $15. I checked out other dealerships that offer it for less than $50. I also found out that most gap insurance is hundreds less elsewhere. The $150 Title & Registration fee was only $75 from the dealer I ended up purchasing from. I am so glad I walked away from Dick Hannah. I will never go back, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. More
Please remember, when you buy a car everything is negotiable. We had decided on a car we liked, sticker price of $8800. Once again, negotiate the sales price of the vehicle and all fees!! It even says in the fine print at the bottom of Dick Hannah's offer that ALL FEES AND THE SALES PRICE ARE NEGOTIABLE. I've outlined the fees we encountered below (we did not end up purchase a vehicle from Dick Hannah) $800 - Gap insurance. This is optional. Gap insurance can be a good thing, but is not required by most lenders. Negotiate the price or ask for this to be removed $300 - Window Etching. As a comparison, you can buy window etching kits on amazon for $20. This is pure profit for the dealership. While it does have its benefits, this is also optional. $150 - Document Fee. Optional. Negotiate. More
Good experience purchasing the vehicle. We became frustrated from the finance side of things. We got a few calls saying "you need to bring X paperwork in" so we did and they verified that it was all frustrated from the finance side of things. It ended up being a pain AFTER the purchase, but everyone was nice, and for our trouble they gave us a free tank of gas so they definitely wanted to make us happy customers which they did. More
