The Story of Jason & Our Honda Element - - I booked a service appointment for our ailing 2003 Honda Element, a vehicle that has seen a lot of wear and tear, but plenty of love and care, at the Dick Hanna service appointment for our ailing 2003 Honda Element, a vehicle that has seen a lot of wear and tear, but plenty of love and care, at the Dick Hannah Honda in Vancouver. We've mostly received great service and great advice from our past service rep, Everett. Then he quit and we were assigned to a few new faces. The last experience, not so good, I don't even want to recant the details on that visit. BUT, this visit with Jason was top notch and WONDERFUL. I want all of our Element service visits to be with Jason Smith. I will only book future appointments when he is working and here is why. From the start, Jason treated me with kindness and absolute friendliness. He ensured that I understood that it was just a diagnostic review and that I would NOT be charged with anything. Then, he made sure I had a ride to work. While I was waiting in the lounge, he let me know that Peggy would be my driver and would be arriving shortly. While I was taking pictures of those awesome old school Honda ads, he let me know that there was a setting in the dash that I could use to brighten the controls--and he told me how to use it. Great! Jason was very receptive to sharing the details of the diagnostic review not only with me, but also my husband Jason (another Jason!)--since he is the car guy in our family. Jason called both of us, emailed me the review, and during the entire time I knew my car was in awesome hands. Then, he ensured I had a rental car, since they needed to keep it overnight. No issues with the rental car, that was all good. Jason even helped me load the car with the car seats. I so appreciated that small amount of assistance. He informed me that he had the next day off, but he would be in the shop in the morning and would ensure everything was okay with my car. The next day I went to pick it up and guess what....a new windshield! I've had a cracked windshield (this was the third cracked windshield...possibly a defect for this style of windshield?) since forever. Well, he and my husband must have discussed how to get it replaced and Jason helped make it happen! I was so stoked...I left the shop with a huge smile on my face. Because of Jason, we will come back again! Washer pump, door lock motor, light on center console....All in all, five starts, heck, a million stars for this visit. I will recommend and return for sure. Please give Jason Smith our sincere thanks and please keep him forever. Who knows, maybe we'll buy another Honda soon... More
Very, Very nice salesman Nick Barnes. He knew a lot about the vehicle and explained everything really well. Didn't have to haggle very much on my trade in and everything was a breeze. I was very pleased with my overall experience at Dick Hannah Honda. I called several different dealerships within the 200 mile radius but the sales associate (Lewis) gained my trust with his willingness Hannah Honda. I called several different dealerships within the 200 mile radius but the sales associate (Lewis) gained my trust with his willingness to actually listen to what I was looking for. He actually took the time to go through the dealership inventory to narrow down my search for me and did an awesome job in following up with me via email and phone. He was very knowledgable, curious, friendly and had a lot of patientence. We were initially greeted by a co-worker of Lewis' who was also very knowledgable that helped us as if we were originally his customer and he was very polite, honest and knowledgable. He even took the time to go over the vechicles in stock with us, offer us refreshments, converse with us, and get us keys while we waited for Lewis. I could see that this dealership actually cared about the customer rather just making a quick easy sale. They worked as a team. I had visited another dealership a few days prior and the sales associate I worked with made my mother and I feel pushed into making a decision after only looking at a couple vechicles. The sales associate at this other dealership came off to me as very arrogant because I felt he was treating us as the questions we had for him were stupid like we were wasting his time. I give Lewis and his Co-worker that assisted us a 5 star rating. The lady we met with at the insurance department was very knowledgable and helped us with a personal insurance issue with even our own current insurance agency. The girl who helped us with closing paperwork was awesome and very informative she took her time with going over the details. Dick Hannah Honda in my opinion went above and beyond to gain our business. Lewis took time after the sale to go over the 2013 Honda we purchased. He even set-up my bluetooth, radio stations and showed me basically how to work all the amazing features in this vechicle. I would recommend this dealership to any potential consumer/customer who would appreciate not having to play the price game. More
