Good experience purchasing the vehicle. We became frustrated from the finance side of things. We got a few calls saying "you need to bring X paperwork in" so we did and they verified that it was all frustrated from the finance side of things. It ended up being a pain AFTER the purchase, but everyone was nice, and for our trouble they gave us a free tank of gas so they definitely wanted to make us happy customers which they did. More
Please remember, when you buy a car everything is negotiable. We had decided on a car we liked, sticker price of $8800. Once again, negotiate the sales price of the vehicle and all fees!! It even says in the fine print at the bottom of Dick Hannah's offer that ALL FEES AND THE SALES PRICE ARE NEGOTIABLE. I've outlined the fees we encountered below (we did not end up purchase a vehicle from Dick Hannah) $800 - Gap insurance. This is optional. Gap insurance can be a good thing, but is not required by most lenders. Negotiate the price or ask for this to be removed $300 - Window Etching. As a comparison, you can buy window etching kits on amazon for $20. This is pure profit for the dealership. While it does have its benefits, this is also optional. $150 - Document Fee. Optional. This was a very nice car-buying experience. Natalie greeted us almost as soon as we entered the lot and took a couple of minutes to listen to us as we explained what we were looking for. She then sat us down and went over the Dick Hannah inventory to give us a few options in our price range. She even drove us over to the Acura dealer in Portland to test drive a car there. We didn't find anything that night, but over the next couple of days she kept us informed of any new potential candidates that had arrived and arranged to have those cars available if we wanted a closer look. Once we finally picked out our car Natalie stuck by us during the whole buying process, we were not handed over from person to person and there was never any high pressure applied to get us to close the deal. This is the 3rd car we have bought at Dick Hannah, and will most likely be back for a 4th eventually. The first two were new, and a bit higher pressure. This car was to replace one of those that was totalled in an accident. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable during the selection process. We began our search looking at compacts, but transitioned to mid-size sedans as we found we could get more car than we thought possible in our price range. Andy was very patient and helpful during our search. He not only showed us cars on several lots there at the Hannah complex, but also had us test drive one of the vehicles over to their remote lot on Hwy 99 to look at a car we thought we were interested in. We never felt any pressure to buy more car than we wanted, and he gave us space to discuss cars privately after driving them, letting us move at our own pace throughout the afternoon. He remained helpful once we made a decision, but seemed less in his element. Admittedly we were exhausted by the time we got to the paperwork, but it seemed that the time from making our decision to finishing up the paperwork was a bit long. We were inside for over an hour, while the paperwork took only minutes at the beginning and a few at the end. We did however appreciate the All State quote we received during that time, finding that we were spending far too much on insurance. All in all it was a good experience. Dick Hannah's service department is also exceptional. In 11 years we have only had one less than stellar experience. Everybody has a bad day once in awhile. More
My first contact was Scott Hegney on the phone. He sounded normal and helpful, and that's what brought me in. ( Now, I dislike buying a car more than preparing tax forms or seeing a dentist! Generally salespeople are pushy, speak only to the man of the couple, and treat me like I'm stupid or irrelevant!) None of this was the case for Dorral. He evidenced a normal, helpful manner, and was interested in getting us exactly what we wanted. He was knowledgeable and could answer all our questions; he treated all questions like they were valid, not stupid. He didn't try to trap us in a cubby hold office for hours! He did not say we had to take the deal immediately, or it would never be offered again! He told us how our trade-in was evaluated. He introduced other employees and explained their roles to us. They were all as helpful as he, and didn't try to brow-beat us into something we didn't want. He was tactful and professional about asking how we intended to pay, and, again, accepted what we wanted. All your employees behave like a good neighbor, straightforward and very likable. As I observed other salespeople dealing with women, minorities, and large family groups, all were treated with the same kindness and interest as we were. You are definitely a dealership I would recommend and I'd send people to Dorral. More

She was knowledgeable, and friendly and if she didn't have the answer to a question we had, she found it. We haven't been to a dealership looking for a car for at least 15 years. I get the "vulture" feeling about car dealerships. You pull up and there are 5 salesmen staring you down, so we just choose not to go to them, and our latest experiences have proven that. And then we went to Dick Hannah in Vancouver, because someone we know used to work there. No pressure. I love that! That is why we ended up purchasing a beautiful Honda CRV from them. We couldn't be happier and if anyone is interested in purchasing a vehicle, I will definitely tell them about our experience with Dick Hannah and Aundraya Gonzales. More
