Then I printed it out and took it to Les Schofield at Suburban. We talked about what I wanted and he even suggested an option I did not have but wanted. He never tried to sell me anything else. We ordered a vehicle from Suburban Ford on December 7th, 2019. We worked with Earl McCoy & Pat Dunn. Earl told us 6 weeks for delivery and took a $1000 deposit, which they promptly cashed on the very next b 2019. We worked with Earl McCoy & Pat Dunn. Earl told us 6 weeks for delivery and took a $1000 deposit, which they promptly cashed on the very next business day. Eight weeks later, after no word from the dealership, we called Earl. He told us "it's on the way", "it will be here in 7-10 days". On Feburary 21st, 2020, again after no word from the dealership, I drove in and spoke to Earl in person. I was informed that in fact the vehicle would not arrive until March 23, 2020. In light of this we requested a refund of the deposit. Then COVID-19 happened. Suburban Ford, even in the face of this crisis, is denying the $1000 from my family. This is a shameful, unethical, and immoral dealership that should be avoided at all costs. More
Great Experience and Amazing Truck! We had called several dealerships in the area in search of an F450. All the dealerships that we called never called us back except one, which we drove to (Canby Ford, which is 5 miles from our home said they'd return our call twice, but never did. And Skyline Ford in Salem was going to verify mileage on a "new" F450 but thought it was a joke that we demanded a truck with under 30 miles on it...their truck had over 200 miles on it and considered it to be "new". Nope, sorry..and he literally laughed on the phone). Upon arriving at Hillyer's Ford in Woodburn, OR, the weather decided to pour rain and asked if there was a space inside that we could view it, as this was the first 2020 that we saw in person. My husband is a diesel tech and wanted to get a close up look of EVERYTHING. They were very rude and refused even though we had the intention of purchasing if all checked per my husband. We had always had Rams and this was our first Ford experience. After our poor experience with those few Ford dealerships, my husband started looking at Ram 4500's again even though it wouldn't really fit our needs. I continued to search for F450's that would meet our needs since we wanted something fully loaded to be comfortable traveling in. I finally called Suburban Ford since they'd had a black Lariat on their lot for awhile and even though it wasn't a color we wanted to purchase, it would give us a chance to see it in person. I called to see what kind of vibe I got from the dealership and spoke with Earl McCoy. He was very pleasant and said he'd be available whenever we'd like to look at it. We made a 50 minute drive to the dealership and when we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by another salesman who then took us to Earl. What a great first impression! They were all so friendly and welcoming...not what we received from other places. Earl offered us bottled water, drove us to the truck via golf cart and answered all our questions AND gave us time to look over the truck and drive it. He never pressured us or acted annoyed when asking if he could get us a different color with all the same options as this one. One week went by and we made the decision that black would be okay...apparently, it was meant to be with the way everything else directed us there. They took us through the best car buying experience we've ever had (and we've purchased a LOT of cars). They had a great price on the new F450 with Ford rebates, gave us what we wanted for our Ram 3500, and financed us at a great interest rate. Many of their staff have worked there over 10 years and the owner still comes into the dealership everyday. I have nothing but great things to say! We couldn't be happier with our purchasing experience and this amazing truck! Thank you Earl! More

This is the fifth Ford dealership I have been in contact with since initiating USAA's auto purchasing program. Dave’s proposal was the most transparent I've received by far, and I greatly appreciated that. This is the first time that I fully understood, Ford’s Customer Cash and financing programs. Details matter! Dave supplied all the details I needed in a concise email for me to make an informed buying decision. I didn’t have to waste my time traveling to the dealership for someone to explain it to me.
