My husband and I have purchased two vehicles from Dick Says Yes. One in August of 2005 and one two weeks ago(June 2012). Both experiences were very pleasant. Both times we went to Dick Says Yes because of credit issues that were beyond our control. They had a way of making us feel at ease and comfortable, and assured us they see our situation all the time. During the latest experience, we dealt with Jim. He was very good at listening to what we wanted in a car. He also fed us pizza for lunch and made idle conversation with our daughters to keep them entertained throughout the process. We were in and out in about 2.5 hours which I think is record time in car buying history. That included credit check, employment verification, car selection,test driving, negotiation, obtaining financing, and signing the final paperwork. We walked out with a newer style vehicle that we really liked (2010 Dodge Avenger). The price was a little high but we didn't complain about that because we were just glad to be getting the car after our recent credit history. Compared to other car places we have been to, such as Ron Tonkin, Dick Says Yes is a way better dealership in all aspects. They take care of their customers and we will definitely return when we are ready to make our next purchase. More

We arrived in Vancouver one day early at 4:30pm. They talked us, via cell phone, to their place and we were done at 9:30 pm that day. We left that night with a great deal. Very friendly staff. Mitch did his best to assist us and answer questions we had, but, since he was new to the dealership, he frequently had to find the answers from someone else. I recently just bought a car from Dick Hannah in Vancouver. Anyone who has been car shopping knows how torturous that can be. To make matters worse, I have less than perfect credit, dealing with a divorce and struggling with employment. Corey was the first person to contact me from the dealership. From the first time we spoke, he made everything so easy. They were empathetic, understanding and truly desired to help me in my situation. I never felt like I was outside of my means with them. There were moments after where I felt that I wasn't going to be able to afford a down payment or even monthly payments on a new car that I needed. Corey, and his manager James, worked together to find a solution to fit my needs. They even sent Jacob from Vancouver to Tigard to pick me up and bring me to the dealership just so I could test drive their vehicles. I could not have done this without them and I am in their debt for having given me a fresh new start. I have nothing but positive things to say about everyone at the dealership and would recommend them to anyone that is looking to buy a car before anything else! More

31 days ago I prchased a used vehicle from Mitch and James at Dick Hannah's, in Vancouver. At first it seemed like a good deal, sort of. It was shinny, they told me all the things that were checked and done by their top notch service dept. I believed all of the shpeal and put a lot of trust in them. It felt good except for some minor petty stuff. But it felt right and I signed. Within only a few days there were issues that concerned me and I wanted to use the 30 day warranty (for major things)that was given with the purchse. With that phone call to Mitch and kicked over to James, everything changed. Lets just say the convesation did not go as I had anticipated, and hoped for. James was still happy but the taste in my mouth was not the same. I am still waiting for James to return a call with more information. It's been 2 and a half weeks. I know now, he's not calling. For one, he knows I live in Olympia, so he has time and distance on his side. Other wise, I'd Be there, on their show room floor. Then we could finsih our thoughts. Initially it was a mechanical issues that concerned me, and I was willing to split the cost with them. That's when James turned the corner on me. But it has gone farther than that now. James and I negotiated a price, he came back to the table with a slip of paper that say's, "You win!" From that point on, I assumed we were working with that number. I guess, my bad, for not checking each number, over and over but he did a switcheroo on me. You got me James. The taste in my mouth got even worse at that point and when I made James aware of it, he just sluffed it off and more or less had a laugh at my expense. He thought he was pretty slick on the phone with me. It's no longer a feel so good experience. Now to the mechanical piece and where I am at on that. First was the wheel bounce that was dicovered on the 120 mile trip home. The unbalanced tires. The steering pull to the left (which was mentioned in the tiny test drive). So I replaced the shock absorbers. Had the wheels balnced, rotated, and front end alignment done. That got me another $ 300, then 5 days later the brakes failed. It now sits in my garage, with no wheels on it and in need of brake rotors, pads and broken caliper mount on the pass rear. NICE........ All things that were supposedly checked. There goes another $ 250 and my labor. Luckily, I have other wheels to get me to work and I'll deal with the brakes this weekend. I can't wait. Funny how it goes from one of the best used vehicles at the time, to, well, "you know it's a used vehicle, it's got a hundred thou one it," and just excuses. Disappointed in them and my self for falling for it. So much that I have to laugh. But I think about them all the time now and can't wait to grant their wish, and hope we meet again someday. I sincerely hope this does tarnish their Dick Says YES # 1 rating. Probably not, since I know this would never be posted. More

I have a very nice car buying experience. The only category that I didn't give a 5 was "Price" which I did give a 4. The reason for this is not because the car wasn't a great price for a great deal, it was simply because I spent way more on a car than I had originally planned on spending when I walked into the dealership. I wrote a review on my Salesman for another site and would like to also post it here for your entertainment: Ecstatic with my car! Need I say more? I am so happy with my car buying experience that I will definitely be a return customer. I worked with Mitch Wheeler to find the best car for my family’s needs. Mitch was great putting up with my jokes, twisted humor and little digs. I was ready to walk away if I didn't get what I wanted but Mitch made sure that he did just that, got me the car that makes me smile! I really have to say thank you to James also for being so great on the finance end of things. I not only met an enthusiastic, engaging and charismatic salesman this weekend but I feel I have made a new friend to whom I can text taunting pictures of my gorgeous car and all of the adventures it will be taking my family on. I have already started that trend with sending Mitch a picture of my car sitting on the beach, looking out on the Ocean. YAY! :-) Thank you Mitch, James, Leigh and of course your boss that introduced himself to me twice and I still can't remember his name. OOPS. I'll be back!! Even though I have purchased most of my cars from Dick Hannah, I was referred to Dick Says Yes. I did not go in w/the idea of purchasing a vehicle that day 5/24/2012, but as usual, I drove out with one. I Hannah, I was referred to Dick Says Yes. I talked w/the salesman Rock & his Manager Rick? about the type of vehicle I would like and my needs. I didn't get exactly what I wanted, but then Rock pulled a vehicle to show me & let me take it for a spin. It was the only vehicle I needed to see a Dodge Journey. Within 2 hours I was out of there w/a new used vehicle. I highly recommend Rock, he is very professional, upfront no lies to get you to buy what you don't want and courteous. Rick, I believe that is the Mgr's name was also very professional & upfront& courteous. These guys did not pressure me into buying anything I did not want. Oh the F & I person Rachael was very pleasant to deal with, even with the crack that I felt like I was purchasing a home with all of the paperwork that I was signing. If you get these 3 together then you have a WINNING TEAM. Thank you E More

This was my first car buy ever. I have bad beginners credit but need a car because i have a family. I went there ready to go head to head with the sales men and finance dept but to my surprise i didn't credit but need a car because i have a family. I went there ready to go head to head with the sales men and finance dept but to my surprise i didn't need to fight at all they were there to support and help me the whole way and now here i am in a nice car with amazing financing better than i thought possible. Corey is a fantastic sales men and really does his best to help you get the car you want but also helps make sure you don't set yourself up for failure,he is a great guy! all i can say is praises for this place.
