We’d been shopping all over Portland OR for a new EV and getting less than positive responses from in town dealers. All wanted deposits to order a new car and all were adding a $5000 charge on top of MSRP b getting less than positive responses from in town dealers. We stumbled upon Dick Hannah Chevrolet in Sandy Oregon and worked with Ed Ashworth. We knew exactly what we wanted and Ed made it happen for MSRP. No hidden charges. He ordered the car and 4 months later we are the happy owners of a 2023 Bolt Premier EUV. The communication was all via email and we only went to the dealer to pick up the car. I dealt with the previous owners of this dealership for over 30 years and have grown accustom to the A1 treatment I received time after time--I probably purchased 30-40 rigs doing that period and still ma over 30 years and have grown accustom to the A1 treatment I received time after time--I probably purchased 30-40 rigs doing that period and still maintain 12+ Chevies in our fleet. My previos Salesman and GM retired about the same time that the dealership traded hands and I've worked with a new sales person Ed Ashworth on this particular purchase who has been wonderfui. But getting information from upper management and GM has been extremely difficult at best .As a business owner I am extremely aware of the strain that the pandemic put on inventories in all industries alike. That being said, purchasing this rig has been the most difficult of any that I've ever purchased. I started the process a little over a year ago and was told that there were no allocations available. Ran into that same wall again in November. Finally as I was ready to pull the plug and go to the GMC dealership in Gresham Ed said that a build date had been allocated. Ed has been great but Chevy has not been user friendly at all and I'm not sure if that is because of the new proprietorship or GM is that out of sync. Either way I did get my rig and am happy with it and enjoy dealing with Ed, but this experience does give me pause as to rethinking my future purchases. More

I have been using the Dick Hannah Chevrolet dealership since it was Suburban Chevrolet, and the service was ALWAYS exceptional . But since the change to Dick Hannah, the Quality of Service has entirely l since it was Suburban Chevrolet, and the service was ALWAYS exceptional . But since the change to Dick Hannah, the Quality of Service has entirely lost the QUALITY and can now barely be called service. The service writer Jim is absolutely phenomenal and still does his job energetically and with a smile. But the technicians doing the service obviously have better things to do than provide the service being paid for. I was in today for an oil change and fuel filter change on my 2020 Silverado 3500HD. There was suppose to be a multi-point safety inspection performed, yet after the service, and as is my usual practice, I checked under the hood. I found there to be a LARGE squirrel nest exactly 10 inches from the oil fill tube. I was NOT informed of this safety hazard, and obviously, it was too much for the technician to remove and document for me to investigate further (for SAFETY PURPOSES). Which bodes the question, was there a multi-point safety inspection performed? I used to live within a reasonable distance to bring my vehicle into Suburban / Dick Hannah Chevrolet, but have since moved 3 hours away. But because of the service I USED to receive, I was willing to make the 6 hour round trip for service. That WILL NOT be the case any longer. I would seriously recommend others look elsewhere based on this significant failure by the service technician at Dick Hannah Chevrolet today. More
