I needed to have a recall issue fixed. It was the replacement of the battery my Chevy Bolt. It was a long process going through GM setting up the details of the replacement. When I took my car in, it was not in perfect condition. There was a small dent in the hood, small chips in the paint and the front bumper was scuffed. When I got my car back I got in to drive off I noticed my windshield was cracked. This was not a little crack, the crack goes all the way across the windshield. I immediately got out of my car and talked with Chris Moses. He said he didn’t know if it came in like that and he would check video. I told him of the imperfections in the car I wasn’t looking to get those things fixed. I called a couple days later left a message and got no response. I called a few days after that and talked to Chris. He said he reviewed video and saw nothing a talked to his Tech that performed the work. The Tech said he didn’t crack it ,Chris said he’s work hear for 25 years said no need for him to lie. This was the third time he insinuated I was lying. He said he couldn’t do anything for me. I could talk the manager Mike though. I spoke with Mike a lot of the same talking points. He ( Mike) would investigate and get back to me. Mike contacted me back later that day. Again many of the same talking points talked to the Tech looked at the video. His conclusion I could make a claim on my insurance to get the windshield replaced. He said I could go to White’s. These suggestions I don’t believe are acceptable solutions for the problem. I brought a vehicle in without a broken windshield and received it back with a broken windshield. I was then told good luck were not responsible. If anyone ask me I would not recommend this dealership. More
Leased my vehicle from Dick Genthe in 2019. I needed a payoff purchase agreement sent to my bank to buyout my lease. They wanted to add $2k said $1395 for dealer buyer fee which would guarantee continued payoff purchase agreement sent to my bank to buyout my lease. They wanted to add $2k said $1395 for dealer buyer fee which would guarantee continued customer service. $695 acquisition fee that is standard fee the dealership requires and $395 disposition fee that I had to pay no matter what. And this didn’t include sales tax and their processing fee. Needless to say I went to another Chevrolet dealer and obtained what I needed and all I had to pay extra was a $230 processing fee. I will never deal with them ever again. More
I leased a new vehicle from Genthe 3 years ago. My lease was for 36 months, so it was due to expire in a month. I decided to purchase the vehicle rather than turn it in, so I went to Genthe to complete the was for 36 months, so it was due to expire in a month. I decided to purchase the vehicle rather than turn it in, so I went to Genthe to complete the transaction. They were going to charge me a $395 disposition fee plus $1200 registration and title transfer fee. I walked out and contacted GM Financial and made the transaction directly with them and paid no fees at all. I just received the title in the mail today from GM Financial. Thank you Genthe for trying to rip me off to the tune of $1595. More

Had my equinox in for an emissions recall last week. When I got the car back I noticed a slight smell of exhaust fumes. I figured it was simply due to the work that had just been completed and the fumes woul I got the car back I noticed a slight smell of exhaust fumes. I figured it was simply due to the work that had just been completed and the fumes would clear up. Drove it last night and the fumes were much worse. Took it back to Genthe today and they can't get to it for days, even though they returned my car in a condition that makes it dangerous to drive. I would not recommend their service department. More

I will never go to Dick Genthe again, worst customer service ever! I had an issue with the extended coverge, was told when the car is inspected that I would not receive a bill from GM financial up to 2k service ever! I had an issue with the extended coverge, was told when the car is inspected that I would not receive a bill from GM financial up to 2k when the car was turned in and when I got the bill from GM I called them to explain there must be an error I have coverage for this and they advised me it was with a 3rd party company that I was unaware of and I had to contact them to make a claim, I had absolutly no idea this was the process as this was not how it was simply put to me when I leased the vechical. So I called and make the claim with the 3rd party group who didn't process the claim in time and GM financial put it on my perfect 100% on time payment history with the credit agencies. When I called GM Financial they said no problem we just need the dealership (who normally handles these claims for their customers) to write a letter, mind you I was never offered to have my claim handled by Genthe in fact I was told it would just be adjusted during my final inspection, they made it sound so easy. I asked the rep from GM Financial if I could 3 way call with the dealership so she could explain what they could do to help me resove this issue as they had mislead me to begin with and the conversation with the finance Manger Mario was the rudest most unprofessional call you could imagine. I actually got out a recorded and started recording it becuase I was so shocked and yes I told him I was recording it and his reply was fine, all our calls are recorded anyways. I've had issues with this location in the pst and I thought we had moved forward as they helped me get the vechicle I wanted this time around but I don't care if they gave me a lease free for 2 years I will never ever ever in my life get a vechicle from them again. I should have known when 20+ years ago I had a car in the body shop that they damaged in the parking lot after fixing it that they are not worthy of my business, not sure what I was thinking. And Mario clearly doesn't take his business seriously, look at his pic on here! Clowning around - what a joke!!! I'm done. I will be contacting a lawyer to get this issue resolved. Maybe the fault lies with the 3rd party vendor but you did me wrong by horrible customer services and that is just wrong. More
