I am responsible for the dealership's customer service and reputation management. I am writing to let you know that I do not take these situations lightly and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced while at our dealership. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. After speaking with our used car department, it is my understanding that we did indeed make a mistake the first time you came to the dealership when we appraised your truck as an SLT-which it was not-but a lesser trim model. At that time, as you stated above, money down was a prerequisite and that was not a possibility for you. It was when you returned to the dealership 2 weeks later that the proper truck model was appraised for trade-in and there was a marked difference in the parameters of the deal which was communicated to you at that time. Again it was not an option because of the money needed as a down payment. I am terribly sorry for the confusion and sincerely apologize for the incorrect information given on the front end. Please, If this is not the case from your perspective or if you have any further information that will help me deal with this situation in a professional and timely manner, I would greatly appreciate it. You may email back to me in confidence or call me as I want to make sure that you are completely satisfied.
