Three and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation! I arrived at 10am for my appt. At 12:30, I asked how much longer and why was it taking so long when I had an appt? I was told that my appt rotation! I arrived at 10am for my appt. At 12:30, I asked how much longer and why was it taking so long when I had an appt? I was told that my appt was to speak with a service adviser NOT for the service itself? REALLY??? When I called, a specifically made an appt for the first annual service. I didn’t say, “ I want an appt to chat with one of the folks sitting at the desks.” I said I needed an appt for service. When we bought the vehicle we quite liked the sales guys. Then I brought the vehicle out to have the hitch we’d purchased installed. That took two visits to the dealership and a total of almost 9 hours in your waiting room. When I made this appt I asked how long it would take. 90 minutes. Ok. When I arrived, I asked again, how long will it take? 2 hours. I live in Santa Clarita so clearly I can’t go home and wait. But okay, I was willing to wait two hours. (For a service that probably took about 45 minutes max to accomplish. I’ve watched my mechanic here in Santa Clarita do this for exact work on my older Ford Mustang) But THREE AND A HALF HOURS?? The lack of respect for my time and myself has been duly noted. This is the third strike and I’m done with you. My Yelp and Google reviews will reflect this as well. More
It was a pretty hard sell; maybe because there was too much inventory at the end of the month. They ended up pulling my credit report three or four times because they kept inputting typos on my address or much inventory at the end of the month. They ended up pulling my credit report three or four times because they kept inputting typos on my address or other details (I got several letters saying my loan was denied weeks later). It was frustrating that they couldn't find the second key or owner's manuals for about a week. Also, they swapped cars/VINs from the one I looked at and sold me a car without any accessories (cargo net, road hazard kit, etc,). The car is nice, and I got aftermarket accessories elsewhere instead. More
Horrible experience, stay away from Diamond Hyundai. My car went into Diamond Hyundai for a recall fix. They needed to replace the head gasket and alternator which was covered by the recall. Additionall My car went into Diamond Hyundai for a recall fix. They needed to replace the head gasket and alternator which was covered by the recall. Additionally, they recommended that the air filters and serpentine belt be replaced, which had already been done recently. After 2 weeks I get it back and the A/C is not working properly. I take it back to them to fix it. They said that it was leaking coolant, and a hose needed to be replaced, on top of that one of the fans wasn’t plugged in correctly. A week later they said the car was ready. When I turned on the car it was idling weird and misfiring. I asked them to look at my car again since the car was acting worse than when I left it with them. They had a tech look at it again. And I saw the tech hook up the code reader to it. Several hours later I was told that all the ignition coils needed to be changed, and it would cost over $2K. When I told them the car was fine before I brought it to them, I was told the car was old and it was my fault I hadn’t brought it in for the recall sooner it was just a coincidence that the ignition coils went bad. I asked that my car be pulled up so I could take it somewhere else. They told me it would take 45 min to put everything back together for me. It took over 1 hour to get my car back. I drove it to my normal mechanic. He hooked the code reader to it. It showed that the #4 cylinder was misfiring. In less than 15 minutes he realized that the coil for that cylinder was loose, and some coolant had got in there. He had it cleaned out and put it back together. And my car ran normally at no additional cost. What were they doing at Diamond Hyundai? Did they not test drive the car to make sure it was functioning well after their fixes. Did they not understand the code reader and do their due diligence? Or were they being dishonest and trying to get money out of me? Either way, I am not going back. More
I think the service was comfortable experience, but I would like more contact for when service is needed. I don’t put a lot of miles on my truck and this first service in 10 months I was informed that th would like more contact for when service is needed. I would give a minus 0 stars if I could. Worst dealership I’ve ever been to in my 50 years of buying cars. They are unethical, disrespectful and just plain rude. The way they handle customer Worst dealership I’ve ever been to in my 50 years of buying cars. They are unethical, disrespectful and just plain rude. The way they handle customer service is appalling. Wish I had checked the BBB before going there because they have an F rating! The purchasing process was fine, the typical back and forth a million times negotiating. What wasn’t fine was what happened after. They made a mistake on the purchase price on my contract and added extra charges for add ons that I was told were included in the total agreed upon purchase price. I did not realize the error until driving home. I called the salesperson the next day and he told me not to worry and assured me it would be fixed. What happened after that was a nightmare. Lies, upon lies and run around after run around. Needless to say the agreed upon purchase price was not honored. More
