I have recommended them to a good friend that was looking for a new car, and they bought their car there also. No pressure , no games, just friendly salesman and easy financing. I love the free car washes I will always buy there!! More

I went to several dealerships, and this is not my first rodeo buying cars, though it is a mercifully rare experience. This dealership met all my expectations and then some, No "tennis" (meaning the endless trips to an unseen manager, back and forth, back and forth - you know "tennis") I tried hard to buy a vehicle from a manufacturer I've stayed loyal to for 40 years, as did my father before me. Never could get a commitment. I had the money. It was hard to believe. I left two, no three counting a used site, scratching my head in bewilderment. Not, and I say again, not so with the staff at Dewey Griffin. These guys not only got me into the perfect car for me, but they lived up to their "no haggle" pledge. Here's the cost, here's the profit (which I do not deny them), and here;s the price to you. Very straightforward. I liked that. And yes, I did call some of the dealers down south 90 miles, and never could get a definite quote there either. What gives with that? My experience leads me to believe that buying local is a good thing. What do you expect to save? Maybe $100-$200 over those big metro volume dealers - if that? Heck, the free car washing alone pays for that the first year, especially the places I take my new Forrester! Besides, I figure aggravation is worth at least $100/hour for time spent aggravated. I am, after all, retired. Please.. And, to be sure, I'm quite satisfied with the price I was offered. So yes, I heartily recommend the Dewey Griffin experience. Seasoned staff who seem genuine, even to my jaded eye. And no, gentle reader(s), I received no compensation for the above other than some simple trinkets just for responding to the survey. The review is well deserved. More

Outstanding hassle-free experience Having bought (about a dozen) new cars from different dealerships in 4 states over the last 45+ years, we weren't looking to spend a lot of time devel Having bought (about a dozen) new cars from different dealerships in 4 states over the last 45+ years, we weren't looking to spend a lot of time developing a 'relationship' with a dealer. We did our homework via Consumer Reports, cars.com, kbb, Edmunds, etc. regarding makes, models and pricing and checked personal & online reviews for Dewey-Griffin. We visited the dealership several times & took test drives (unaccompanied) of two models of interest to us. Sales rep Sharon went over the features & differences of these cars, and we were offered a very fair price and made our decision with no need to haggle. Paying cash was not a problem (as it's been elsewhere) and we agreed on a deal. At no time did we feel pressure or obligation from Sharon or anyone else at D-G. Lori (accounts manager) sailed through our paperwork - no surprises. Our price was exactly as stated by Sharon and we arranged for delivery with our check a few days later at our convenience. Sharon spent all the time we needed reviewing the operational features of our car with us, touring us through the dealership's service and parts departments, and setting up our first service appt. We were very pleased overall with our shopping/buying experience and grateful for the interest & respect we were given by the dealership's staff throughout. More
A deeply disappointing, unpleasant experience Young couple, first time buying a new car. Sales agents were nice, low pressure. Worked out a deal over email for a new Forester. Got to the last s Young couple, first time buying a new car. Sales agents were nice, low pressure. Worked out a deal over email for a new Forester. Got to the last step of the purchase and saw a charge for fees we had negotiated away. Apparently, Dewey Griffin had made a mistake. Even though the removal of the fees were made clear in (and agreed to) over email, that aspect hadn't been approved by the sales manager. The sales manager, Heath, who has clearly read the "48 Laws of Power" unironically, reacted in a way that apparently betrayed a deep insecurity when confronted with his own mistakes. Hostile, rude, and incapable of admitting ownership over the problem, he walked out on us mid-sentence declaring the whole deal "over" about a minute after we sat down. Power move! So yes, a professional place of the highest standards. If you want to support the kind of business that can't own up to its own mistakes, treats customers like enemies to be conquered, and treats deals written down in advance as discretionary, Dewey Griffin is your place. sales and service experience I moved to this area from tenn and after reading hello 123 review I could not believe it was the dealership we purchased a car from. First when we pur I moved to this area from tenn and after reading hello 123 review I could not believe it was the dealership we purchased a car from. First when we purchased our 2015 outback from Dewey griffin the sales staff was outstanding and that includes the sales mgr. And after the purchase the service depth bent over backwards to make us happy and I am very picky. If you are in the market to purchase a subaru or get yours serviced you can not go wrong dealing with Dewey griffin. IF I was treated like hello 123 said he was and then did business with them I Would have my head examined . Subaru is an outstanding car and in my personal experience Dewey Griffin is a great place to do business. More
It was high pressure and Horrible. They don't care about you The salesmen was very nice but he was the only one I liked in the whole bunch. They lied over and over again. They kept saying they were a no pressure The salesmen was very nice but he was the only one I liked in the whole bunch. They lied over and over again. They kept saying they were a no pressure company but were trying to force things we did not want. We agreed on a price and I told them to write up the deal so I could get a check from my bank. They kept trying to get me to go through there financing even though I was pre-approved by my bank.at 2.99% saying I was just making things harder. How is it harder for me just to bring in a check instead of dealing with waiting hours for them to try to find financing. They could have been honest and said if they set up the financing they get a kick back but instead they tried to make me feel dumb for getting pre-approved. They said they could get me a better rate at my bank, but my finance guy at the bank told me that's not true. The finance lady Lori was completely rude and insulted me. They would not listen and kept talking about non-sense. Everything was agreed on but they kept just trying to push things. like gap coverage and warranty even when I told them I didn't want it The car has a 60000 mile factory warranty so do I didn't need it. On their demo cars that are almost new with 3000 or less miles they will claim they all came from there lot but truly some come from other places. (example of lying) As soon as you drive a car off the lot its drops tremendously in value so don't let them compare it to new because its used. I wish I could say I would buy another car from them but I won't. When half the reviews are bad that tells you something. They are bad and I wouldn't go there unless you had to. Unfortunately are salesperson works with some of the rude people and that is unfortunate for him because they make him look bad. If you do go there make sure you deal with Robert. He is a good guy and was actually very honest, A few of his co-workers almost lost the deal for him and if it wasn't for him i would have walked out. I still cant believe their finance lady insulted me when I was about to spend $25000(Lori). Thought I would give a review so other people don't get bullied by them.. Again Robert is a good honest salesperson. I hope they see this so they think twice about how they treat their customers and will start listening to the customer. More
