After spending most of my adult life driving Toyota products, I decided it was time for a change. I have always liked the look of Jeeps, so I decided that's where I would start. When I looked at Jeeps products, I decided it was time for a change. I have always liked the look of Jeeps, so I decided that's where I would start. When I looked at Jeeps at different dealerships, no one could find the one I liked. When I went to dealerships in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area no one took any extra steps to find the exact model that I wanted in Black. I was in Des Moines with my wife for the week and we decided to try Dewy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Ankeny. The salesman I dealt with was named Joe Bosch. He went out of his way and found the exact Jeep I wanted in Black. He made the extra effort and called me back unlike the dealerships in Cedar Rapds and Iowa City. I was so impressed with his committment to making sure I left driving a vehicle I have always wanted. In the end, the dealership went out of their way to bring the vehicle I wanted from out of state. Mark O'Donnell was also very helpful in finding the Jeep I was looking for. I can confidently say that because of the excellent service I received at this dealership I will continue to buy Jeep products in the future and will recommend the to my coworkers, family, and friends. More
I found the staff at Dewey Dodge to be very professional and helpful. I started my search on the internet viewing inventory. I made my choices on line. After making my choice and agreeing on the price. The staff at Dewey work late to complete the deal, so I could take the vehicle home. All employees where very helpful and professional. This was my second new Jeep Grand Cherokee that I have bought at this dealership. I used their website to make my choice of vehicle and to confirm my appointment with Roger Butler. He had the vehicle I chose ready for a test ride when I got there. I felt very comfortable with Roger because he wasn't pushy,and I could tell he was a down to earth honest person. We had a nice conversation about gardening and our children and grandchildren. My over all experience with Dewey Dodge Jeep has been great including my purchases and my service appointments.I brought my daughter there last year and she purchased a new Jeep Compass. I really love my new Jeep and will return when it's time to trade again. More

We drove to Ankeny to see what the Dodge Caravans were like. We were met at the door by a Super guy named Joe Miller. He was fantastic. He knew his vehicles inside and out and wasn't pushy at all. We told him what we were looking for and he found it right away and we all went for a test drive. That sold us on the Dodge Grand Caravan. Joe handled all of the paper work. All of Dewey's staff we worked with are excellent people. With a staff like that Dewey Dodge is going to sell alot of vehicles. I have told many people about our great experience at Dewey Dodge. We traded in our Durango for a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica in February. We got an awesome deal on our trade in and good price on the new car. Now I know why, this has been one of the worst vehicles I have ever d February. We got an awesome deal on our trade in and good price on the new car. Now I know why, this has been one of the worst vehicles I have ever driven!! It was all good for the first month then we started having the problems. The radio controls sometimes did not function correctly, annoying but we didn't make a big deal about that. Then the transmission began shifting weird. I thought maybe it was due for a fluid change so I had that done, it didn't help. After a couple more weeks it got worse and the car was violently jerking when it shifted. I took it in to the mechanic at Dewey Dodge who informed me my transmission needed rebuilt and while they were in there discovered my head gaskets were also bad! All this on a 5 year old car with only 69,000 miles???! So I authorized them to make the repair since I had purchased the extended warranty (thank god!!). So $4,6662 dollars later I picked up my vehicle, I didn't even get 5 miles away and the jerking started again. I called the mechanic they said it give it a few days it might work itslef out....it did not. After 2 weeks I took it back in, this time I was told there was nothing wrong with it and it drove fine, REALLY? So again, I took the vehicle home and continued to drive it in this condition that gradually got worse. Again, 2 weeks later, I took it back in now that it was worse, and again, I was told it was fine. This time I insisted a mechanic ride with me and I would show them. They agreed and after a quick 10 minute ride the mechanic saw the problem and said it felt like the torqe converter was still bad. OK! I have an answer. We get back to the mechanic and Josh the service advisor was told what was going on. Then he proceeded to tell me that it was just "torque converter shudder" and it's normal. I disagreed and I was pretty much blown off, he told me he would talk to the service director but doubted they would do any further work on it. Well he was right 2 days later he informed me I was NOT to bring my car back in for this problem because it was normal. So here I am now over a month has gone by and in that time the transmission finally completely failed and the car is sitting in my backyard. I have only made 3 payments on it and I can no longer even drive the vehicle. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau against them. There response was to bring the car back and the service director would personally ride with me to "ascertain my concerns", the "concerns" are well known to him seeing as how the car was there 4 times in less than 2 months. Be very leary if you are considering purchasing from them. More
