A bit of Deception My experience with the dealership was very interesting, to say the least. To start, I live around Memphis,Tn and the dealership is in Iowa so its arou My experience with the dealership was very interesting, to say the least. To start, I live around Memphis,Tn and the dealership is in Iowa so its around 9 hours from me. I was looking for a truck and found a 2011 GMC Sierra that from the photos appeared to be really nice. I reached out and because the salesman that worked with me seemed like a legitimately nice guy I won't reveal his name as he didn't seem as he was aware of some of the misleading tactics (I could be wrong). He sent videos of the truck which included the inside and the outside. He made a point to show a particular spot where there appeared to be a blemish by the rear bumper. The truck looked nice and I was willing to travel to attempt to make a deal as the price seemed very good for the mileage. However, there were fender flares installed on the truck that were not present in the photos that were on their website, which means the dealership installed them. Communication was a bit terrible, to be honest. I would call and never get an answer most of the time when the receptionist would transfer me to who I was calling for. I went ahead and sought financing and got approval for the truck before I bought a flight to look at the truck. I asked for underside photos of the truck but I received no response, whether that was an actual over site or intentional is still unclear to me. I arrive at the dealership and inspect the truck and underside. To my surprise, the underside has substantial surface rust. At this point, I'm a bit annoyed as I specifically asked for the photos for a reason and had I not traveled 600+ miles would have left. I attempted to really inspect the underside as I work on cars and decided this was something I would attempt to remove or have removed as the rest of the truck seemed solid. Upon bringing this up they were barely open to negotiating the price as I would need to have this addressed to ensure the truck had a long life. All of this is to say even with not receiving underside photos I can say I was okay with taking on this truck. However, the low rating is due to shear deception I realized when I arrived home. I asked about the fender flares that were installed and the salesman told me that they thought the truck would look nice with the added flares. THIS WAS A LIE. I could not check the front fenders nor the upper parts of the truck bed due to these flares as there were many screws in the flares. The flares in the front were installed correctly and underneath looked pretty good with a minor rust spot toward the bottom, but the rear flares were crudely installed with self-tapping screws and hid rust damage on the bed. As I stated earlier the photos on the website had no flares installed and no up-close shots of the bed. After I removed the flares I found bubbling paint due to rust on the bed. In some spots, the paint had completely flaked off. This, in my opinion, is very misleading and overall attempting to hide certain problems with a vehicle is uncharacteristic of a reputable dealership. The people here seem genuinely nice, but to be honest I think they value making a sell over anything else. More

Your vehicles are priced well. But, the customer services is very poor. I understand that sometimes you can meet the customers needs, but, you should still show that you value your customers.
