I made the mistake of buying a vehicle online. I was assured the vehicle would be cleaned well. It was not. It was still very dirty. It was a 2018 so I assumed there would be no rust. I had confirmed with the salesman that if there were any issues they would fix them before selling. Not the case. Very disappointed with the condition of this vehicle. Basically brand new, dealer unit. 5/2023: Upon finishing servicing a vehicle they had in their possession for 2 weeks they didn't wash the outside or clean up the interior, had dropped it off cleaner than I got it back. 10/2022: I would not recommend buying from here. I was first off told that the vehicle I was purchasing would never have to be plugged in and that it would charge on it's own on the highway. After a 10 day sit at the airport the vehicle was stone dead in January 2023 in North Dakota. Called through my Lincoln App to get car unlocked & boosted, they did so. Car continued to die. I called in for service and couldn't get in for 4'ish weeks. Finally got it in...they didn't do anything on the matter and said the car was fine. Problem happened again and with 3 young kids at this point I'm parking a very expensive vehicle due to it dying consistently; we go in to the dealer Easter Monday April 2023, Husband explains the problem face to face salesman says he will get it figured out. Fast forward to beginning of May, we call for sales manager because salesman has not returned our calls like he said he would after researching the matter...sales manager offered us a Ford Explorer that was not nearly as nice as our vehicle, we take it in for fixing and this is when the car was kept for 2 weeks and came back dirtier than we dropped it off. Charged the car as they said the car must be charged, you can't not charge it as the salesman had told myself and my dad who came along when I looked at the vehicle, once charged I drove it around town for a few minutes, got 97-100% braking energy return, and headed out of town for appointments....by the time I got 28 miles away and the battery that had just been at 100% when I left town was now at 0%. It stayed that way. Never charged while driving. The batter will not hold a charge. When it does this, the vehicle goes into deep sleep mode meaning you have to crawl through the car to get the hatch open to get your battery cables. Which I ended up doing a number of times. It's now July 5th and our hometown dealership sold the car for us as of June 29. No one in sales has followed up with us since those May calls. We got so fed up with their awful customer service and lack of knowledge we sold my dream car to get rid of the headache. I won't be coming back to Devils Lake Cars. Go elsewhere!! More
