Upon Deur Speet receiving my review I was immediately contacted by the service manager as well as one if the owners. I was impressed with their concern that I did not have a great experience and they offered me some free services to make up for what had happened as well as to give them another chance. I spoke at length with the service manager and he assured me this is not their usual customer service. Based on how important it was to him and the owner that I have a better experience the next time I come to their shop, I am definitely willing to give them another chance. I did not have a good experience with the service department. I had a 9am appointment, set up almost a week in advance and I told Kurtis if it could not be fixed in one day I would need a car to get back to Muskegon. I arrived at 9am and dropped off my car. Kurtis called me at 2pm to tell me he was not able to get to my car that day and when I told him that was ok as long he had a car for me to use, he told me there was a problem with the car he is allowed to loan out and he did not have a car for me. I told him that is a problem and asked him to either try to fix my car or the loaner car and call me at 4pm to let me how things were going. 4 pm came and went and no call. Finally I tried calling at 5 but no one answered so I left a voicemail but still did not get a call. At 5:20 my brother took me back to the dealership where I found Kurtis sitting in a chair. He asked if I had tried to call him and I told him yes and I had left a message. He told me he was sorry but he didn’t get to my car or the loaner car and there was nothing he could do. I could either bring the car back on another day or leave it and try to find a way home. I was astounded. I live in Muskegon and it isn’t that easy to just come up on another day or find a way home. I had an appointment first thing in the morning to ensure it could be done in one day barring something unusual. Kurtis did not offer any solutions to this problem nor did he even seem to try. Fortunately I was able to borrow my brother’s car to get home and was able to return in a couple of days to pick up my car. There was nothing offered to help offset the inconvenience or extra cost to have to return to Fremont again. I do not understand why there was not another car for me to use - the lot was full of used cars! At the very least with an almost $800 repair bill, the oil change should have been done for free as a gesture of good will for everything that happened. Another suggestion would be to wash the cars after they have been serviced. These small, low cost extras tell customers that you care about them and want them to return. Honestly, unless I know any future repairs will be covered under the warranty, I most likely will not take the extra effort to come to Fremont to have my car fixed. I was very disappointed as I thought Deur Speet was much better than this. More

The most quick and painless service appointment ever. I’m VERY picky when it comes to my vehicles and where I service them.
