I am not sure why. maybe I am just unluckey everytime I need to come in for service it is a horrible experience.A simple oil change should not take a hour and a half when you are now required to schedule a need to come in for service it is a horrible experience.A simple oil change should not take a hour and a half when you are now required to schedule an appointment.I was in this past saturday for an inspection and it took 2 hours.40 mins of which my car sat in the bay finished before the service person brought me my bill so I could pay.Previously i have had experiences with my dodge ram that had a leaky shock.nothing major it was a warrenty issue.they did not have the part and ordered it. the part came in and I scheduled an appointment for the repair.upon arrival I told annette what I was there for. I left the vehicle because my mother was dying in the hospital.I came back to pick it up in the afternoon and annete told me yes you have a leaky shock.the truck did not get fixed and sat there all day.she went outside and would not come back in until I left.I have purchased 4 vehicles with you in the last 6 years and don't think I will buy anymore from you.everyone who walks in there on a saturday morning seems hungover,or miserable.the people in the service dept. always seem to drop the ball. I recently switched to Albany Dodge from Nemer Dodge because of Nemer's poor service and I have been EXTREMELY happy with Albany Dodge's service. as usual the service rendered by albany dodge was excellent. the wait time for the completion of the oil chsne was minimal and i never have any doubts about the thourghness of the service staff. i do excellent. the wait time for the completion of the oil chsne was minimal and i never have any doubts about the thourghness of the service staff. i do have a complaint regarding the sales staff however as the tires that came with my new vehicle purchase were crap (the tire brand was kuhmo)and had to be replaced after 19,000 miles. the sales staff basically provided me with lip service and while waiting for them to re-contact me (as promnised) my tires got to the point where they were unsafe to drive on. one member of the sales team told me there were no issues with my tires and that i should just continue to drive on them, however i went to a tire retailer and all four tiresa were beyond the wear bars. sfter informing my sales contact of this, he asked that i give them a chance to see if they could get me a price break some where and thats the last i heard from them. i place this lack of responsiveness on the shoulders of the manager of the sales department. apparently his concern and those of his staff is to sell new cars and never follow up with customers concerns. agAIN, I would like to state that the service staff is as good as any around, but the actions (or lack thetreof) by the sales teem gets an F rating by me. I had lost my email from my droid and the print out from my computer for my free oil change and tire rotation, this was offered to me because it was my birthday. The employee Chris said he would look into this on the next day, which is my appointment day. On the appointment day Aimee told me that she can not pullup the email and that she would need the code from the email.( I finally found the original email after bringing the truck home and paying $26.95) There is no code in the email, so Aimee could of fixed the bill so that I would not have to pay anything. I would used the coupon in the correct time span, if Aimee used some customer satisfaction, after all I drove 17 miles from Clifton Park to Albany and returned. I passed a Dodge dealership along the way in Latham,and countless oil changing business too numerous to count. If I had went to the closest Dodge dealership and asked them to honor the Albany Dodge coupon without the coupon they might of said "yes". Especially if I promised them my business in the future.I have had no issues with Albany Dodge in the pass 2 years, but there's a first time! More
