I came to Albany Dodge for several reasons. Like all people, I wanted to get the most money for my trade and not walk away feeling ripped off. Vinny was able to give me the real life numbers and let me know what was possible and honestly... what wasnt! The inventory was well stocked and the finance options are unbeatable. No bank would have ever been able to give me the low APR that Albany Dodge did. I drove away today in my brand new 2010 Dodge Ram knowing that I would not have gotten a better deal anywhere! Period! They handled everything! Very easy. I would recommend Albany Dodge to anyone! Thank you. More

The only thing easy about this place was the purchase of my 08 Avenger. After that its been hoop after hoop to jump through. Every time I leave this place I leave angry. The service people are incompetent a my 08 Avenger. After that its been hoop after hoop to jump through. Every time I leave this place I leave angry. The service people are incompetent and are constantly lying to your face. I am a 24 year old female. I've heard every lame line in the book from this place. Today, the latest BS excuse, is their reason why they will not replace (or work on without charge) my SECOND set of warped rotors that are within the warranty period. First set warped by 13k...they had a 18k warranty and were replaced. I am now at 28k and guess what... yup warped again. I was told today that the "parts warranty" (which apparently now applies as these aren't the original rotors) only goes for 12k... therefore I'm out of luck. I was told these had the same warranty as my originals. My personal favorite part? Upon my inquiry (just for giggles) as to what it would cost to resurface the rotors I was quoted a price of $186!!!!! After my sputtered "excuse me????" I was told "well we need to remove the tires and the brakes and calipers to get to the rotors". I had them done at my mechanics today for $15 a rotor. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ALBANY DODGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sale didn't go that bad and I did get a decent deal, other than I told told the sound system was Mp3 CD capable and it is not. The main problem stems with the Sirius radio as I have had to return to the dealership 3 times as they are to cheap to loan me a car for the full time it takes to fix the problem and on the first day I had them work on my truck they saddled me with a cargo van to drive. With having paid 40+ grand just last week this was extremely discouraging. When addressing the service manager about this problem he was very disinterested and only wished to argue about how he is not responsible for Sirius satellite radio components in the vehicles they sell. To which I wonder why they bother to sell the Sirius service in there factory radios if they are not going to be accountable for them. The problem is still not fixed and I'll have to return to the deal yet again to the "bottom liner" SERVICELESS Manager. More
I've lived in this area most of my life, and, therefore, have tried this dealer on many occasions. (No other nearby Dodge dealer.) Over the years, little has changed, except for them to become even less rep have tried this dealer on many occasions. (No other nearby Dodge dealer.) Over the years, little has changed, except for them to become even less reputable. Sales staff does NOT know the vehicles they sell, and are extremely poor at getting requested info. Meaningless promises & bold faced lies, are common. I have only allowed the service department to work on my vehicles whilst under their warranty... and, even then, they were always trying to tell me the problem was something they shouldn't even cover, and/or sell unneeded service. NOT ONCE were any of the cars' problems ever fixed on the "first try"... and, few on the second. Recurring brake problems addressed in Dodge's own Tech. Bulletins, and a wiring harness recall were both denied as problems by their service manager, and when I produced the actual documents, he had the nerve to try to convince me that my vehicles weren't included, despite the VIN numbers falling w/i the listed ranges. This dealer has a very poor local reputation, and has earned every word of it. More
In my shopping for vehicles, it is rare to come across a dealership that is as poorly run as this one. Salespeople rarely last three months, and even those who do seem to have little or no knowledge of the dealership that is as poorly run as this one. Salespeople rarely last three months, and even those who do seem to have little or no knowledge of their product (e.g. the lady who took half an hour to find out whether or not a standard-length Caravan could be had with a power seat). The allegedly discounted prices are a crock, and the inventory is spotty. Getting a final price is an art form involving coconut shells and a guy named "Fast Eddie" - plan on spending the better part of a Saturday there if you really want to buy from them. Unless the cars are being given away, this is a dealer best avoided at all costs. More
