Albany Dodge is great to do business with. Last Sunday my husband and I were out test driving all different kinds of vehicles. I was looking to trade in my car for an AWD car or SUV. I hadn't even thought about a truck, but was open to looking. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Vinny Notaro. He was very patient and kind in answering all of my many questions and showing us the various truck models, even though we told him we were "just looking". After looking at several trucks, it soon became very clear that I was going to get the best "bang for my buck" from Albany Dodge - the only question was could we make a good deal? I had a figure in my head for what I wanted my monthly payment to be and how much I was looking to get for my trade. In the end, I feel we made a great deal. I got an extremely fair price for my trade and my monthly payment is right around where I wanted it to be. One of the best parts is how quick this whole transaction took place. Sunday we stopped in - just to look - and by Tuesday I was already picking up my truck. I also have to mention that it was refreshing to feel comfortable doing some of the paperwork without my husband there. Normally when we purchase a car I want him to be there because I'm afraid the dealer could take advantage of the fact that I don't know much about cars. But this was not the case. I did much of the initial paperwork by myself on Monday and felt that everything was fully explained to me and all of my questions were openly answered. In addition to Vinny, Johanna in finance was also great to deal with. No paperwork hassles at all. When we went to sign the final paperwork, she actually explained what we were signing. Most finance people just tell you "sign here, sign here, sign here" and you're left squinting at all the fine print, wondering exactly what you're signing. And while she explained the extras we could opt for, she wasn't pushy about getting us to purchase them. I also have to comment on how great Vinny was at getting back to us. I emailed him several times and my husband called a few times. In both cases, Vinny returned the email/phone call within the half hour.
