I've dealt with the Service Dept. as soon as Jim Almindo left his previous job to become the Service Manager at Albany Dodge. Vinny was a great salesperson; he took good care in getting us what we wanted. He even provided me with car mats after I had picked up the van. I went into Albany Dodge after extensive research on the internet to look at a Dodge Durango. The dealer and manufacturer rebates that were being offered were what got me in the door. I made an appointment to see a specific vehicle. When I got there the sales person I was to meet with was Alan. He was double booked on appointments and left me waiting for an unacceptable amount of time. Couldn't answer my questions and did not follow up with me at all. I called the dealership and spoke to Rocco, the Sales Manager, and he was great. He convinced me to come back in and when I went in the second time I met with Vinny. Vinny did a great job answering all my questions and working with me. He took care of everything and made my experience great. Thanks to Vinny I will recommend Albany Dodge. I will just be sure to tell anyone I know to ask for Vinny and not Alan! More
I have visited the service department twice over the last 3 months for oil change, as well as to have vehicles checked and repaired. As far as the sales part goes Chad was very helpful in getting us into a vehicle that was suited for our family. As far as the service we had the truck there several times. 1st time for break light(on getting us into a vehicle that was suited for our family. Was sent away with the tail light working and not the break light. 2nd time we were there for the break light again which was fixed and an issue with the transmission (vibration @ 35mph and a clunk when it goes into reverse of course it doesn't do it all the time so it didn't happen when it was there)at which point the truck was compared to antoher vehicle (by listening to it not by checking it out). 3rd time we were there was to have the driver side door seal replace and again to have the tranmission checked out and once again was told there was nothing wrong with it that it was normal for a Dodge Ram. *For the record I don't believe it's normal we have friends that have a Dodge Ram and theirs doesn't make that noise or have the vibration @ 35*.In my belief it was the mechanics who didn't want to take the time to fully inspect what the problem could really be. Other than the tranmission issues of the vehicle, Rick Rigney from the service department was very courteous and friendly and did what he could to get us in there in timely fashion. More
from the moment i walked in the dealership vincent was very personable and pro fessional. he was straight up front with a good price and had me at my payment range. when the truck i wanted we found out wa very personable and pro fessional. he was straight up front with a good price and had me at my payment range. when the truck i wanted we found out was taken he searched immediatly for one just like it. he was on the phone with me every few hours to keep me posted on his progress. he then had one show up at the dealership that was like the one i wanted but was a little more in price because of the options., he still kept the price and my payments the same.he stayed true to his word. i was in my truck within a few days of my first visit. no truck has ever been easier for me to get before. although i have been a dodge truck buyer for about 13 years i've never been to albany dodge before now. but i will not hesitate at all to go back there or recommend this dealership. i am very happy with the service i recieved. vincent is a real asset to your dealership! With the disappearance of numerous Dodge/ Chrysler dealerships from the Capital District area, it is nice to see that Albany Dodge continues to satisfy customers with great service and a huge inventor dealerships from the Capital District area, it is nice to see that Albany Dodge continues to satisfy customers with great service and a huge inventory of new vehicles, even with the increased demand created by the decrease in the number of local dealers.
