I work a lot and had a tight schedule . I was interested in a car they had on the lot . Kyle took the time to bring the car to my work. I spent several hours on the internet and found the Grand Caravan we wanted only at ALbany Dodge. We wanted a 2012 former rental van. We stopped in around 11:30 and drove our dream Grand Caravan home by 4:00. Vinny answered all our questions regarding the new technology (we were driving an '07 Caravan). He gave us the van to test drive. He also provided just the right balance of attention, allowing us all the time we wanted to discuss the vehicle. Only when we were all done, did he ask us if we wanted to buy. Of course we did, and their second offer was reasonable so we accepted it. More
My Husband and I received a mailer about trading in our current vehicle and I had always loved the Dodge Charger, so we decided to go down and take a look. We first called and spoke with Suzanne who was so friendly and helpful and she said come on down and then we had the pleasure of meeting Matt Dyer and he was so helpful, honest and explained every detail of the car that we were interested in. Like others have stated in their reviews, he was not pushy at all and he wanted to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. We decided to go ahead with the purchase. We started out on Tuesday and said we would pick it up on Friday. Unfortunately, one of the other employees was using the car we were purchasing as a demo and had taken it home and then ended up having a family emergency and could not have the car back for us to pick up on Friday. Matt called us and explained and even though he knew we were dissapointed, he was very apologetic and said he would make it up to us. We were then told that we could pick up the car on Monday at noon. Monday came and Matt called us early to let us know that things were a little crazy and the car would not be ready until Monday evening. At this point I had almost changed my mind about purchasing the car, but we arrived at 5:15 on Monday evening and Matt was there with a big smile and our keys. Matt, Eric and Suzanne were the BEST, but I do not think that upper management really cares enough about their customers. If management really wanted a happy customer they could have made arrangements to have the car returned from the employee's home on that weekend and given him a new vehicle to demo and had delivered the car to us when promised. Rocco Peluso was introduced to us twice and he seemed as if he could care less about us and that we were not important at all. Rocco did approve a couple of free oil changes for our troubles, but I would have like to have been treated as a VIP by him, rather than just a sale. Maybe they need to management people like Matt, Eric and Suzanne who treat people the way they would want to be treated. Thanks to Matt, Eric and Suzanne and we love our 2012 Black Dodge Charger. This dealership: is easy to find, not so big that you get lost when you arrive, has good parking with easy access to showroom, a happy, relaxed vibe - while we had to wait for paperwork to be completed, we e lost when you arrive, has good parking with easy access to showroom, a happy, relaxed vibe - while we had to wait for paperwork to be completed, we enjoyed watching and listening to the staff and the other customers - has a good selection of mini-vans, AND HAS THE BEST, MOST ATTENTIVE, MOST PLEASANT, MOST PROFESSIONAL, MOST HARD-WORKING SALESMAN WE'VE EVER MET - KYLE OHLIDAL! When you visit Albany Dodge, ask for KYLE - he will stick to you like glue, in the most attentive, pleasant way, and not at all obnoxiously! He knows how to time his phone calls to keep in touch, and to let you know he is still on the case. Other dealers that we called or visited didn't seem that interested in helping us find a mini-van, even though we already had the financing set up - that was puzzling. We also noticed that there were lots of sales being made while we were there. Cars in the showroom, and in the lot, were gone just over a few days time. That was encouraging. Seems like quite a few car/truck-buyers like Albany Dodge! Oh, and they happily took our dear 2001 Grand Caravan, with 116,000 miles on it, and a few dents, as a trade-in for a very decent price. We are very happy with Albany Dodge, and especially KYLE! More
My past experiences shopping for a car have been pretty negative, long drawn out sales process and high pressure tactics. There was none of that with Kyle. When I need a new vehicle, I'm going to talk to Kyle first, although I'm hoping it'll be a while. The car I purchased is pretty awesome! More
Salesman were great (Joe and Alan), delivery of the car not so great. Waited around for almost 2 hours got in the car (the first time) and it was completely dirty, the outside looked great but no one deta not so great. After that and all the waiting it was finally time to take the car home and I couldn’t wait to get home only to find out they didn’t put any gas in it. At that point I just wanted to get out of there.. so I stopped and put enough gas to get home(car said i only had 12 miles to empty). As good as Joe and Alan were I don’t know if I would go back. When you spend over $25k on a car you expect the dealer to put some gas in the car and to schedule the deliveries a little better.. More
