I originally had an appointment for an oil change at the dealership I leased the 2012 Nissan Rogue from which was Armory Garage on 1/5/13 a Saturday at 1PM. When I got to Armory Garage the servicemen told m dealership I leased the 2012 Nissan Rogue from which was Armory Garage on 1/5/13 a Saturday at 1PM. When I got to Armory Garage the servicemen told me since Armory was no longer a Nissan Dealer that he couldn't honor the $25.00 Gift Certificate I was given for future service when I leased the Rogue back in the end of June 2012. So he was nice enough to call Chris Bucher at Destination Nissan to see if he could take my Rogue in now for the oil change and Chris was also nice enough to say yes. And my Nissan Rogue got the needed oil change done inside of an hour and he also honored the $25.00 Gift Certificate towards the total cost of the oil change which only cost me an additional $11.13. I was very pleased with my service at Destination Nissan. I had to call ahead and tell them I was going to be late for my appointment. Chris told me it wasn't a problem at all and I could still get my car se I had to call ahead and tell them I was going to be late for my appointment. When I initially called dealer, I informed Josh Cooper that I wanted credit pre approval before bringing myself or my husband into visit. I wanted to trade my 08 Pathfinder for a 12 Pathfinder or 13 Pathf that I wanted credit pre approval before bringing myself or my husband into visit. I wanted to trade my 08 Pathfinder for a 12 Pathfinder or 13 Pathfinder. My stipulation was that I wanted the same payment as I already had($365). After talking to Josh, then later Rickie, they assured me I would get what I was asking for. Later that evening, my husband and I went to the dealer. Rickie had 2 vehicles out for us to test drive. We went inside to get going on the process. We chose 12 Pathfinder. I again told both Josh & Rickie what we expected as far as payments went. They again reassured us we would be fine. Adventually, Rickie came back from Tyson's office (who we later met) with a piece of paper (Preferred Customer Plan) with terms for payments on it (conveniently that paper was NOT given to us). I do have the typed version, but the bottom 4 boxes are empty of course. But, I remember what it said!!! 60 months @ $430's or 72 months @ $360's...and if you give $100 down tonight this price would stay and get the ball rolling... We agreed to 72 months @ $360's. Gave $100 down and $70 toward DMV fees. Paper work was signed...DMV, title, affirmation of 08 Pathfinder,insurance card, etc. Then, we went in the back office to see Eric Cangelosi. Well! Now my payment is $430's for 72 months. Not only is the payment almost $70 more, but it's for a whole extra year too! But wait, a service plan of 6yrs/75,000 miles with a $100 deductable...that cost us $2,495 was added. Doesn't this come standard??? This is supposedly so we could get the 6.5% financing because NMAC wanted 16% ????? We were financed at 4.9% with NMAC on 08 Pathfinder. This is the 4th Nissan we've owned. Isn't there usually some kind of loyalty agknowlegement? Eric says, we don't have to go through with the deal.....yeah ok. We only found out the differences as we were signing away....thinking about the terms we discussed out in the showroom. The deal was done at this point. I came here to get my car looked at since the service engine light had popped on. After explaining the reason for my visit to Aimee I was passed on to Chris because someone she knew had come in. After sitting there for two hours I inquired. My car had been done for a while they just had not talked to me yet. I then had to wait another hour for them to do the oil change I asked for at the beginning. Once the car was complete they had charged me an extra 18 for the oil change and I would have been charged if I didnt review the bill carefully. When told reasons my check engine light was on the estimated me a price 50% higher than anywhere else. On a side note, while waiting I watched them interact with different customers. The only people they were nice to were the cops. More
I gave the rating I gave because for my second experience of getting an oil change; was only ok. I wasn't notified that the location of the service department moved; so I went to the place were I purchased of getting an oil change; was only ok. Once I got to the right location; my oil change was done in the allowed time. One of the things I would like to be added is being able to get a car wash ticket;to be used at my convience. I'm expecting my next visit to be better. More
