I came in for NYS inspection on my wife's Rav4. I was going to wait for it to be done and had every expectation of a hour wait. My car was taken in promptly and within 30 minutes I was driving out o was going to wait for it to be done and had every expectation of a hour wait. I had originally went to Destination Nissan because of an SUV I saw on their website. I was able to make an appointment for a test drive through their live chat which was very convenient. When I arrived they were very helpful and were ready for to me to take the test drive. I liked the SUV very much but there was still something missing. I went home and continued to do some more on line research. I returned the next day and even though Jason,who I worked with the previous day, was helping another customer I did not have to wait to be helped. George then helped with what I came in to look at and was very patient and professional while I looked at many different vehicles. After several test drives we found the one!! I finally had that "Im in love" feeling and knew this was the SUV for me. If it wasn't for George being so patient and encouraging with making sure we checked all the vehicles before giving up I would still be looking or a new car instead of doing my happy dance! I had a great experience. I called on the phone and reached Suzanne in Sales, after finding a car online through car finder. Then after answering my questions, I arrived to show my spouse and we were reached Suzanne in Sales, after finding a car online through car finder. Then after answering my questions, I arrived to show my spouse and we were introduced to Vinny, Then we went on test drive and purchased the car in only hour. Also when picking up car we received a voucher for having a small dent removed. The Body shop only took 15 minutes and you can't even tell anything was there. I had to file a complaint with Nissan (corporate) about minor issues with my car that were not promptly handled or communicated properly. I initially voiced my concern at the dealership only to be told mad minor issues with my car that were not promptly handled or communicated properly. I initially voiced my concern at the dealership only to be told made up stories and then ignored for weeks while they ‘looked into it’. Once it was ‘researched’ it turned out that I was told one thing but what was actually entered in the system was different. The rep at Nissan had to contact them only to have them contact me - over and over again. Weeks passed before it was resolved and the rep at Nissan got to see for herself how it was handled with minimal effort, minimal consideration for the complete inconvenience of having to drive back and forth to the dealership for issues that were so minor that should not have taken as long as they should. Felt like they could care less after the actual sale. I could not wait for the issue to be resolved so I could go to the other local dealership for another issue and the experience was so much better. I was told to actually purchase my car at the other location. I should have listened. More
I went in to get an oil change, and I left my wallet on the front seat of my car. Not thinking much of it, I let it go and waited for my service to be complete. When I got back in to my car, I noticed $100 the front seat of my car. Not thinking much of it, I let it go and waited for my service to be complete. When I got back in to my car, I noticed $100 was missing from my wallet. I called the dealership and the first manager said it was not his problem, so I had to go back, talk to about 6 different people who all told me I shouldn't be so trusting and they were not liable. Last time I checked, money doesn't just get up and walk out of wallets, so it's clear someone stole the money. The dealership made me call the police, and refused to call the employee back who was working on my car. Still have not heard anything about it, not even an apology. Worst experience in customer service I have ever had, and I would rather pay for every oil change my car will ever need than to deal with these jerks ever again. Awful awful awful customer service. It was bad enough things went wrong during the leasing process. I guess this dealership is just all around terrible, from the sales room to the body shop. I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER tell anyone to go to Destination Nissan, you will end up wasting your time, and possibly loosing your hard earned cash from the thieves they have decided to employ. More
